I always skip the opening tbh but I love the song (that and the fact that Ryo drink from a obviously empty cup of coffee :P). Do someone know where I can find the full version ? :O
I love this show but something keep bothering me. Does police officer are that loaded in Thailand ? Oo I mean, Krit seems to not care AT ALL about money (saying like buying a Condo or a car to his lover like he is some sugar daddy). Their house - I mean, their family mansion seems huge. As far as we know they don't have "side business" and aren't corrupt (my first assumption in the beginning). I just find it... odd. :P
Is it just family wealth ? Like the mother or it come from their ancestor ? Or it's truly like that in Thailand where their officer are just that loaded ? I doubt that as we already saw drama with this theme and it wasn't the case. ^^
Also, just to understand everything who was the father of the "heir" (the young boy) ? Was it the sick one that died ? Or was it a brother of one of the 3 "uncles" who died early and we never saw him ?
What does she bring to the family ? She whine all day and even scheme against their interest. She is childless as far as I know, she have no knowledge in the Ink Bizness and doesn't even seems to help to manage their asset or the household. Why do they even listen to her ? :P
Yes I know, it's probably pity but it needs to stop at some point!
Sigh I am on the 15th episode too and honestly the way she is clinging is so frustrating. She only speaks grandiose…
She is her cousin. The Li family have 8 branches but only 3 stayed in the Ink Bizness. She is from one that didn't stay and became sailor (probably merchant) if I recall correctly. Also, her father (mother ?) married a foreigner (as she is obviously of mixed-race).
Personally, I don't think she will cause any issue as she just seems to be a supportive character without proper story for herself.
I will be honest I didn't expect them to be together this soon as J-Drama often do the confession scene in the very last episode but I'm very glad they didn't as I'm not a huge fan of that. :D
I really enjoyed this one but the ending was not to my taste personally.
- First of all, the PM. I liked this character at first but they really messed him up in the later part. I mean, he tried to kill his BF because he was butthurt he "stole" his girl. I would have preferred that his actual reason was truly to protect the Crown at all cost. But ideally I didn't want him to turn evil for no reason. And the icing on the cake ? We literally don't know what happened to him in the end. I feel a bit robbed because like I said, I liked him and they just "murdered" his character for the sake of a boring plot twist.
- I'm also not a huge fan of the "Abolishing the Monarchy" plot line. I would have enjoyed more if they were stayed as King & Queen. But I do understand why. They probably want to avoid any political scandal by being labeled as a "Pro Monarchy" drama as I think I heard that they had some issue with it. Take it with a grain of salt as I'm not sure of myself here.
- The reconciliation between father & daughter was a bit too... easy. A lot was not said and should have been addressed but we just had this "emotional scene" where the father implied that his behavior was rooted in protecting her ("I just wanted you to stop fighting everyone") like it would explain all of it.
Overall, it's one of those drama that probably hyped me too much - as the first part was really top tier in my opinion - but just didn't live up to it unfortunately. Not it was bad but still... I expected more. Too many loose end and short cut were taken to closing some plot line. It probably deserved 16 episodes tbh but we got what we got.
Anyway, I still had a very fun time so I cannot baldly rate this one so I will settle with a 8.5/10. I would still recommend it.
Based on the scene, it was her call but he didn't fight it either. Regardless this scene doesn't make much sense…
It was more like an impossible choice. If she saved him, she would also saved her father and in return he would have probably kill them both. Sure, the writer could still use some plot armor to justify them winning this fight but they have something else in store for their story for us as I'm 99% sure this isn't the end of it. Let's wait and see. :O
Everybody pause. A question please Did A Sheng release Jin Lun hand? Like did she really let go? Or i just saw…
Based on the scene, it was her call but he didn't fight it either. Regardless this scene doesn't make much sense as... couldn't they just fly like they already did multiple time ? Anyway, one of those moment you just need to turn your brain off as I'm pretty sure he will come back one way or another.
Also she will become a goddess based on the "Crazy monk" prophesy so maybe he will too ? :O
Hmm... I'm afraid of trying this. The tittle + synopsis make me believe this will a drama with a lot of "negative emotion" (I very often avoid melo). I'm easily swayed by those and it always bring my mood quite down... So, is my first impression true or I can jump into it as it isn't that heavy ?
Hmm... Good but not as much as "School Trip: Joined a Group I’m Not Close To" or "Our Youth" two drama that have rather similar vibe (BL High School Romance with opposite attract plotline).
This one also have a... questionable side character who in insight was completely unnecessary.
Like most High School romance drama, they went with a "pure" vibe. Not much skinship and kisses were limited to the basic minimum. But it also made the side character I mentioned earlier and his relationship with one of the main even more... weird and out of place as it break this "pure" vibe.
All of the others side cast didn't have much going on either. Not really a complaint here as I usually like when the focus is on the main story. But they really felt like background prop most of the time.
Regardless of its flaw, this drama still have a interesting story between the main. It was sweet and healing to see them helped each others with their respective struggle.
Super excited for the ep 8 🥹 what was the photo glitch in ep 7 😭
I think his previous identity - his true self - is being erased. When the dad tell about his memory of him as kid - when he draw on the chair - they couldn't recall it and even the drawing was missing. The picture of him getting glitched was probably also a hint of him being slowly erased.
Glad to see that I'm not the only one bothered by those sound effects. Usually I enjoy them but here everytime they move or have a line -> Sound effect. It's just annoying at this point.
Sweet but a bit whatever. The last episode was more cringe than the rest and this final "fight scene"... What was that ? It's really uncanny. Did they use AI ? Even low-tier fighting & choreography skills would be better than... "that". It came like a "Cheveux dans la soupe" (hair in the soup ?) like we said in my country. So unnecessary and unprompted.
But anyway, it's free to watch on YT so I can't really complain much about the overall quality as it's definitely on the very low budget side. Watch it if you have time to spare and low expectation. 7/10
It was "fine" I guess. Not bad but not that great either. What bothered me the most is that both couple have a very similar plotline.
(Spoiler Alert - even if I would dare say you could guess the entire plotline in the first episode)
One Scammer and one "Victim". Victim fell in love first. Scammer also fell soon after. He got discovered. Victim isn't happy and "break up". They are also "disowned" by their family for being "stupid". Scammer beg for forgiveness. Victim forgive. They rekindled their love. Family also forgive their own stupid children and even their scammers. Everyone is happy. The end. :P
Personally I preferred the relationship dynamic between Yu & North. They seemed more natural. I struggled more between Tim & Pai.
Amazed this got so many likes. Just imagine, please, how you'd respond if someone said this:"No more homosexual…
Well... Isn't exactly what happen everytime ? Saying they are sick to see "Woke" propaganda in every shows when the main theme isn't Queer related ? So I'm not surprised to see some peoples would enjoy more if they were strictly BL or GL.
Regardless, they do that for a reason (mixing BL & GL) and yes, it's because it reach a wider audience making it more profitable.
Personally I also have mix feeling about this. Not because I want them to be strictly BL or GL but because in most case, they just don't bother trying to make a decent storyline for them (girls in BL and boys in GL). They are mostly filler and seems to be here just to be able to say "We also have a GL/BL couple!" more than anything sadly.
Hmm... Just discovered this with the newly released trailer. Ngl, the title itself lowered instantaneously my expectation. After seeing the trailer, it seems more like a boss/subordinate relationship so I'm a bit reassured (and he didn't call him "Daddy" in it :P).
That being said, I'm not completely sold either. We will see. :)
Like this one, it was only the "first half" of the OG work. So no, it finished on a cliffhanger and as far as I know they completely dropped the idea of producing the second half.
