Ngl, those two episodes felt a bit like a Nothingburger.

Rainbow seems to indicate a Nour. Or well, a Nour that nourished on a "special blood" or feel "alive" ? I mean, James see Ken and Tee's Girlfriend colorless. They seem dead inside. Like they don't feel anything. But he see this rainbow on James once he feed on his blood. So far, Nour seems really similar to the Vampire myth, so it's fair to guess that a particular blood could be a trigger. Don't know if James Blood will be universaly liked by all thoses Nour or it just work like this on Ken like a "fated partner" shenanigan or a "past life" plot devise.

I like the drama but damn, they make very hard to like the second couple. Krit is just... unlikable for me.

Firstly, he provoked the rift between Rin/Mochi when he asked out Rin at their high school graduation without taking any accountability for himself.

Then, the way he broke up with Rin was just... weird. I really don't know why it was necessary to make this fake two-timing story with Mochi. Like I have no clue at all. It's just very dumb.

After that, we also know he broke up with Rin because he felt Rin controlled him a bit too much when he was trying to help him succeed. He wanted to stand on his own. Sure, fine. I can get that. So... Why are you piggy back on your newly (fake) boyfriend influencer as a (fake) couple ?

He is also very narcissistic. Since their break-up, he cannot stop to comment on Rin's new relationship with Khobfa. "Stop trying to make me jealous... I'm over you. Stop being clingy" say the guy that cannot stop looking at Rin everytime he appear and make everything about himself everytime Rin is near him.

And lastly, the self-pity is just so unsexy... Did they really try to make us feel bad for him because his daddy is a jerk to him ? I mean in the other side we have Khobfa who both parents died tragically & get traumatized because he got blamed & bullied for it. And still, while he also self loathing himself (understandably with what he went through), we didn't have to heard him saying line like "Nobody like me!!! Y_Y"...

And then we have Mochi. I honestly think they did him very dirty. This character literally have nothing going on for himself. He is just here for Krit & Rin. And yes, I don't know why he likes Krit. Except because it's written this way.

Well, it was way longer than I expected. Sorry for the rant, I just needed to word-vomit into the void I think. I like this drama as I love the main couple and the story so far. So yeah, that's that. ^^'

Also my opinion. I mean, I felt the emotion so I don't think it's fundamentally an issue - at least for me. In another hand, the technique was a bit... Awkward ? But like you said, it also does fit their character. Khobfa being a "virgin" to everything & Rin just realizing his budding feeling.

Ngl, this one caught me off guard completely. I mean, I expected something fluffy & quite innocent like most K-BL in this setting - High School Romance. But nah, the first scene was... very explicit. Again, for a K-BL it's highly unusual and AGAIN, even more in a High School setting.

After that, the romance is a bit... twisted ? I mean, one guy is clearly obsessional. And have already crossed many boundary.

Don't know how it was advertised as I went completely blind and didn't recall reading the source material but I just didn't expect any of this. :O

Quick question: What is a Nour ? Is it a made-up term for this drama or it's an actual myth ? I quickly search on google but didn't find anything relevant. From what we saw in the drama, it's kind of similar to a Vampire (strength, "Immortality", Blood-sucking) but if it was that, they wouldn't call it a Nour. Especially since the Blue eye doesn't fit and in episode one they made it sound like it was some sort of ghost and could "possess" peoples.

A fast track isn't about the pacing. ^^ It's when they release "earlier" a bunch of final episode if you pay for it.

Don't be saddened. They purposely seek this reaction from the community. The whole marketing is voluntary ambiguous - like the romance tag but with only the two ML on the poster and well, the blatant bromance vibe from all those trailers - is to trigger this reaction. It generate engagement and serve the drama promotion. So yeah, nothing to be surprised here when it's what they wanted in the first place.

After that, the community will naturally shift their interest when more episode will be released or when it's finished if the drama offered something else beside the bromance. Like it seems to be the case for this one. Be patient I will say. :O

For the bite thing, it depend on the Omegaverse as I've seen some where the bite need to be mutual to "complete" the bound. But yes, in this one, it seems It's only Alphas that bite.

I would say, it wasn't a easy watch. Not because it was heavy but mostly because it was at time very confusing at what they tried to show. The artsy & philosophical vibe didn't help I would say. Some other time, event occur "off-screen" that have major impact on the current story but never truly explained. Like for example, the bet that "exploded" the relationship between the second couple. It was suddenly brought up, didn't explain any detail on it but it was a major turning point for the second couple. I really believe I missed a episode or a scene but it wasn't the case. It wasn't the only case of that.

Despite that, it's a very good drama. Very unique especially coming from China and being a BL - maybe I would even say it's more a Queer drama as it doesn't really follow the usual BL troop. 8,5/10

If you can't read between the line, it's your issue. The man controlled everything about her life. It was textbook psychological abuse. Could she left him ? Asked help ? It really isn't that simple in those case. And when you learn the way her husband dealt with the situation when he found out about the cheating, you can see it wasn't a "safe place". I'm even more sick that he especially got out of his way to bring the child to witness it.

So yeah, at this point who care if she cheated ? And just saying they didn't excuse the behavior, it was just "understandable" for anyone with empathy.

Just one thing I don't understand: Great doesn't try to hide he isn't Gaew. He doesn't try to stick to the old personality's body, doesn't hide knowledge he shouldn't have and even use modern slang on a daily basis. My point is, he just doesn't hide it and doesn't seem to care. Well, even all the others character just seem fine with how odd it seems.

So... Why do we have those scenes that have vibe like "Did I get busted ? Did they discovered my super hidden secret ?" :P

Personally it make me laugh but I don't think it was the intended vibe they tried to set - I mean they heavily use this thriller bgm. So what's the deal ? Is he really afraid of being caught or it was really for comedic effect ? :O

Would Min-Hwan's Mother really "forgive" him for what he did ?

He killed his brother, didn't feel guilt for what we saw, killed another person and then tried to kill another one - who happened to be the one with her son's heart. I know she didn't per se say she will forgive him and just that if he was without any support, she will be here for him but... I can't understand.

I'm not a parent, it's maybe why but it just felt off. Especially since she appeared really tender or caring like it was not that big of a deal. :o

Like some peoples said, strong start but it lost its touch in the finale episodes. I wasn't bad but clearly an uninspired ending. It least they didn't ruin it. 7.5/10

Not really a jab at this drama in particular but High-school BL J-Drama have a strike of "Popular Kid x Loner" troop this year. :O

Obviously we have the currently airing "After Moving Seats, the Boy Behind Me Has a Crush on Me". But this yeah we also had "School Trip: Joined a Group I’m Not Close To" and another I don't recall the name but it was about a Basketball players and another student that bonded firstly with some rock band music if I recall correctly.

They are all good dramas so I don't mind that much tbh but it just strike me when I saw this one. ^^'

Yeah compared to Ep. 5, this one was much better. I still find the background music overwhelming and bland (and that bell sound headache inducing) but I will just continue to lower the sound to get past it. It's a shame because the OP & ED are great music but so underused for some reason for those generic one they keep using. :/

It's messy, in a very bad way. The writing is bad. Like Bad bad. It completely failed at explaining properly the world they live in - except maybe the omegaverse itself but it's another issue I will talk after.

The Devathitirat family ? Mafia or Huge conglomerate ? They act like Mafia but so far, except wearing gun, being attacked randomly by "opponent" we know nothing about or what they want by doing so, it just feel off. Honestly, it just feel they wanted gun fight to show us how "cool" they were. No real purpose than that - story wise at least. And as for their "business" again, it just slapped on them for their image of a "rich & powerful" family. All we know is that they fight for some land and... That's it.

Phatsa background is also a mystery. We did had some answer about his parent but as to why he is completely clueless about the world he lives in is unexplained.

And lastly the omegaverse. They explained how it works. I'm familiar with it so it wasn't a issue but they did a good job I would say. BUT. The way they explain thing is just so freaking lazy. Like previously said, Phatsa is completely clueless for some reason so it's a open door for any information dump when needed. It just feel so unnatural and doesn't flow well at all. That and the repetitiveness of those. Nakhin, we get it, you don't care about the secondary gender of your partner. You also don't need to recite them again & again (Alpha, Omega, Beta). The others couple have similar issue when they overexplain or repeat information but yeah, my biggest grip is against that couple (Nakhin/Ongsa).

Tbh, when the first trailer was revealed I remember it was around "ABO Desire" airing time. My very first thought was that they were trying to capitalize on the omegaverse hype this show brought. I could be totally wrong. Maybe it was a project made long ago as didn't dig any dipper. The timing was just... concerning (for me). But now seeing this, it feel very superficial and rushed so maybe it wasn't just some random gut feeling. It could still be wrong - again. But now, I don't care enough to dig and at this point, it doesn't even matter, the result is here and I would say, I'm not impressed.

Still, I would probably finish for the sake of it but that's it.

It was worse for me because I was confused about who was Sangnuea in the first place as I'm just bad with name. I still vaguely suspected it was the Omega Phatsa saved in the first episode and tried to hook up with every Alpha he encounter BUT when he just hooked up with him in the same exact bar he was setup I was like "Was I wrong ?" because it would be so stupid, right ?

So I needed to check it here to be sure and yeah, it was that stupid. I don't blame the character at this point, it's just the writing that really bad.

Agree! That some audacity this dude have! He even call her a "Jewel" now. The worse is he will try to get her back - by any mean. I know someone who will NOT be happy with that. I literally have no respect for both of them tbh. I even feel pity for Madam Yu. She is probably the main antagonist, but she have some class at least. :P
