I have to say, skate our souls got me shedding tears right off the bat. This show is amazing and is definitely a must watch. I began watching it because I was impressed with how well James could act, but my god, this show is on another level. I usually don't like to get emotionally attached to a story, but this one proved me wrong. All I can say is, if you're thinking of watching this show, please go ahead. It gives us a realistic portrayal of mental health issues, and is dealt with very well. It might not be for everyone, as some have stated here, because of the gravity of the issues portrayed, but it's amazing nonetheless.

This was a pretty good c-drama. I usually don't watch dramas that have 20+ eps, but this one still got me watching till the end. Although it began dragging a bit towards the end, the drama progressed quite well, and gave all characters a very satisfactory ending. Now, although the leads were very good and their chemistry was great right from the beginning, I personally began getting hooked to Wen Rang and Chengcheng's arc, and always ended up waiting for their scenes to show up (lol). I think out of all the fluff and shininess in this show, I think the most realistic reaction was that of the second male lead, and how he attempts to get over his crush on Cong Rong. Nonetheless, this was a pretty nice watch.

PS. Everytime they showed Shangguan's face during the wedding. lol. That was overkill.

Though this show presents us with an extremely common and predictable storyline, it's a step in a different direction for Korean bl dramas. I've never seen a Korean bl drama contain sixteen eps, with more than ten minutes per ep, so it seems like their industry is beginning to open up to the genre. With regards to the show in itself, the lead's slightly stilted, but that maybe because his character's drawn up that way, or because this is the actor's first show . Since there are only two eps, you can't really tell if it'll get better. I hope it does, especially with the new format. The rest of the cast are quite good, being relatively new actors. However, I'm not a fan of love triangles (of any kind, and this show has two of them; sigh), and although we're introduced to Shin Woo and Da On, we know who's the obvious choice. Yet, it's a pretty chill and okay show overall. It doesn't require much brain power to decipher, because of its predictability, and seems like the kind of show you'd finish watching all at once in around two hours once it's completely out.

You could give it a try if you're into fluffy, unicorn level stuff, or need to take a break from more serious shows.

I have to say, looking at the title, I wasn't really sure about this show. But little did I know that I stumbled upon what might be one of the funniest k-dramas I've seen in a while. This show is honestly a good break from all the melodramatic shows out there. It's light and refreshing, and even pulls off all the comedic tropes well. It's usually stressful to watch a 16 ep. drama, with the plot dragging in the middle, but I was surprised with how consistent the show has been for the past six episodes. The comedy is quick-paced and the romance unfolds in a very chill manner. This is the second drama I've seen from Kim Ji Seok and Jung So Min (When the Camellia and Because this is my first life being the first shows I'd seen from them), and they're pulling each scene off really well. What's great about this show is that there's no dull moment in it, so it's great to watch after a long, stressful day. Seeing Jung Gun Joo is a delight as well (despite him being the second lead. Sigh. But oh well), and the rest of the cast are very interesting. This is definitely one of those feel good shows that we often brush off at first glance, similar to be melo. Do give it a try if you're sick of watching those cranky rom-coms or draggy dramas.

PS. Kim Ji Seok's whale dance (got me bopping my head from side to side) and that elevator scene (comedy gold) were amazing. Period.
