I was truly baffled by exactly this. The episode overall was slightly messy with the story and editing. But at the end I was like "Yes I agree this is sad, but um what about Prae's disturbingly charred body? Been there an hour. Where's the ambulance and backup?" I get this isn't strictly a police procedural show, but when the shots went wide you could see them being emotional, but also Prae 🤨. Plus, it's been a weirdly hilarious thing with this show where they just chuck in emotional or affectionate scenes in the morgue or when there's a dead body nearby. Nonetheless I'm still enjoying the show, but hope it wraps up loose ends well!

Exactly. I think Chita's reaction to Prae was more concern than being weirded out imo, which is why he warned the doc about her. Atp, I'm like 95 percent sure he's a Nour, considering the warning, and I figure they're setting the next episode up for that reveal.

Legit excited for this because it's really different from the norm with the female lead being pretty androgynous. I haven't read the manhwa but it'll be a good subversion of conventional tropes if the FL sticks to that aesthetic to the very end and they each fall for who they really are despite appearances!

This is a great show imo. Maybe I just like dramas in the mystery/suspense genres, but I watched this alongside Spooky in Love and this show absolutely wins. I mean there hasn't been a dull moment, because when the suspense hinges on one thing there's usually a tendency for things to get boring quick and we'd be begging for the reveal to happen. But this drama's different because it keeps the suspense fresh, and there are plenty of interesting twists and turns every episode.

Enjoyed this one very, very much. I've been waiting for good Korean comedies lately - this one was fun and CHAOTIC. Plus it got tons of laughs outta me! I really liked the fact that Park Eun Bin (who was amazing - no notes; I honestly loved how bubbly she was in this, post the first episode) was the focus, and that it was pretty female-centric even with her Grandma and the female villains. The character with the sticky powers pissed me off so many times, but also made me laugh in equal measure. I think the group dynamic was great on the whole. As for Cha Eun Woo - I know everyone's on either side vis-a-vis his acting, and I've clocked his skills for being kinda wooden before, but in all honesty, it's a massive improvement from his other shows (ep. 7 is a great example). I could really tell he did his best to play into the comedy too. I really liked a few things plot wise like the subtle romance, and some shots too - that stretcher scene with Creep playing in the background was 🤌🏻😭.

Lastly, just want to put this out there: this show was clearly meant to be outlandish and fun, and I hope at least some people saw it that way while watching. There's a lot of comparison being done with Moving and Cashero. While it is definitely a comedy like Cashero, it's not as dramatic as Moving. Plus, all of these shows have people gaining powers in different ways: people were born with it in Moving, and it was inherited in Cashero. I think the plot in this drama was justified in having given us some exposition about how these powers came about, and how the main characters adjusted to them, especially over a short eight-episode period.

In a sea of incredibly depressing crap, I appreciate anything that makes me laugh. If anyone is in serious need of a laugh, or you just want to crack a smile, go ahead and watch this or put it on your watchlist.

This is a really interesting show! I think this came out around the same time as Goddess Bless You from Death, so I unfortunately wasn't able to catch it then. Although I was impressed with Goddess Bless You and how gruesome it was, the atmosphere and cinematography in Khemjira is honestly amazing. I think a huge plus point is that the show is set in the Isan region, so the traditional and cultural aspects really make the plot work. The opening is also incredibly haunting but beautiful - it really sets the tone for the show! Glad I caught it on Netflix. Also P.S: I gotta say, Keng has really beautiful eyes lol. I get why everyone's jaws drop whenever he takes his shades off in the show.😬

Lol was literally just watching the dosa scene. I was so surprised they were eating dosa in the first place because South Indian food is rarely ever shown when there's Indian cuisine involved, but them eating it like a friggin Taco Bell crunchwrap took me out 😭✋🏻

And honestly the rating system becomes more unreliable when you see dramas from different countries (good example being Japan), having excellent dramas rated in the 7.0s. So in this case, Japanese dramas at 7.8 and 7.9 are considered great, while those at 8.0 or 8.1 are considered excellent. I quite frankly do not look at the ratings anymore, especially after missing out on some good shows rated badly, and just read the synopsis to see if it's worth my attention or not.

You're right, that scene meant a lot! Especially because even though it was a small step, it seemed like a solid effort towards actually considering the registration of same-sex marriages.

I enjoyed this show so much - it was such a nice break from all the serious shows I have been watching recently and I felt so relaxed while watching it. I really liked how genuine the characters were. Besides, although it may be hard to find a chosen family like this in real life, I was impressed with how they realistically portrayed what it could be like with the right people. If anyone needs a break from serious stuff, this is the right show to watch!

Absolute 10/10 from me. I don't think any show/j-drama has made me this emotional in such a long time. This is an incredibly empowering show that put me in high spirits, and quite honestly, I'll really miss it now that it's over!

I swear to God this show makes me emotional at the end of every episode! This show always ends each episode on such an emotionally charged note - I damn near choked up seeing that race in episode 6. Hoping Koichi carries the dream forward in the next one!

Just finished this one - it's an incredibly endearing show about found family! It's a very relaxed watch, but some of the emotional moments are actually quite heart-wrenching. I honestly love slice of life shows like these, and would recommend it to anyone! It's on Netflix, so anyone in doubt should give it a try - it'll make your day!

This is an excellent show, period. I first gave this a try because of Tsumabuki Satoshi, but ultimately stayed because of the story, and of course all of the cast. Every moment is so emotionally charged, and seeing the horses race actually make your heart pound. The story is so thrilling that even if it's focused on simply buying a horse from an auction, you feel it - that's how well this is written. Anyone questioning whether they should watch or not should definitely go ahead and do so!

The scene where he got shot, but was okay walking about and having sex killed me😭. It reminded me of this one SNL sketch where a cop gets shot, does the deed with a fellow female officer and dies the next morning due to blood loss. I was like how did Pheem not bleed his guts out considering he got shot yesterday? They're stretching reality so much out here.😂 Still entertaining even if everything seems kinda half-baked though.

Than needs to seriously get himself together and start actively investigating stuff on his own without relying on Pheem. Pheem is extremely unreliable, so I don't see why Than should hang onto everything he says like it's true. Anywho, I'm liking this so far, even with the janky CGI gunshots and crossfire.

Walked into this thinking I could handle the horror, and came out of it genuinely creeped out. This is really interesting, and honestly, props to whoever is responsible for the ghost and corpse designs. They succeeded in scaring the sh*t out of me. That shot of the tree in the beginning was also so haunting, it took me a good minute to process😭. Overall, very solid start to the story - I'm already so curious to see what's going to happen next!
