Exactly! Since it’s fiction, they had the freedom to craft a stronger storyline. Instead, they relied on unnecessary miscommunication as the main conflict when there were so many better ways to develop the plot.

This drama is a work of fiction, so is it really that hard for the characters to communicate even in fiction? Yes, Japanese culture leans towards introversion, but introversion doesn’t mean ‘never communicate.’ In the series, they did talk things out, but only when it was already too late. If they had just spoken earlier and cleared things up, the characters could have had more depth, and the story could have been much stronger.
Everything just feels unnecessarily exaggerated. The series started off great, but the last two episodes were dragged out for no reason. It’s frustrating to see such a promising show turn into a wasted opportunity.
The whole show could’ve been wrapped up in a few episodes if they just had one proper conversation! At this point, they should rename it "Why Don’t You Communicate?" instead of "When It Rains, It Pours." Because let’s be real, the only thing pouring here is miscommunication and frustration!
It’s honestly baffling, why does no one in this series know how to communicate?! They’re grown adults, yet somehow, saying a few sensible words is the hardest thing ever. The constant lack of communication is beyond frustrating!
That being said, the acting is fantastic, the direction is solid, and the cinematography is beautiful. The cast and crew did an incredible job, if only the characters’ communication skills were just as good!
📌03.03.25 update:they changed name for the nth time and deleted all the announcements/posters💀i’d say…
Ohh, my fingers have been crossed for so long for Stay With Me Season 2! I really hope they’re not fooling us this time, please, God! 🙏 But did they mention the premiere date and time?
Parallel world exists in this show! It's not only Cir's dream! Even Cir wasn't aware of it. Yes he kept his eye…
Oh, okay! Thanks for taking the time to explain all of this. But seriously, how many worlds and how many Cirs are there in total? OMG! And is Black Cir the bad guy?
He might have saved a lot of money and may be book-smart, but in this situation, book smarts aren’t enough. He doesn’t take rational, calculated risks—his actions often feel impulsive and short-sighted. Like when he told Phu he was from a parallel world just to get close to him. That wasn’t just a risk, it was completely irrational.
Plus, he’s not a little kid who can be controlled forever. Giving up his entire life’s freedom just for four years of university feels like a terrible trade. And as you mentioned, he already has money now (as per episode 6), so why isn’t he fighting his mother properly? He could hire the best lawyers, get restraining orders, or seek help from others. Instead, he’s just going along with it. He’s an adult, but the way he handles things sometimes is just... frustrating.
