Something that I am loving in this series is how different emotionally charged scenes will take place in the same…
Thank you :) I really love comments like this. I usually miss such details — it's comments like these that bring my attention to them and make my viewing experience so much better.
I can't believe I felt bad for Wang Shuo at the end of the episode ??? He's such a complex character — manipulative,…
Same with me. I'm really curious to know more about his past, and about him as a person beyond just the "crazy, manipulative ex" label. His relationship with his family, especially his brother, really interests me. His brother feels like a very toxic person to me. That whole "sweet guy" act seems fake and deceptive — too good to be true. While watching the last episode, I felt like Wang Shuo was wronged by many people, and that’s what led him to where he is now.
Like you said, he is manipulative, calculated, and fully aware of his actions, but at the same time, he feels very vulnerable like a child asking for acceptance and love. What he does is definitely wrong, but the reason behind it feels solid or valid, which makes it so hard to hate him.
And also, Wang Shuo looked so vulnerable at times in today’s episode — like a child asking for acceptance…
Yeah, let’s see. Only 8 episodes are left. I hope he gets help and some kind of happy ending. To me, it feels like he was wronged by everyone his lover, his family, and his friends and that triggered his mental health issues, which gradually deteriorated.
...maybe he hates him in which case it would make sense not to care
Yes, I hope we get some resolution. I want a happy ending for everyone the main leads, second leads, and Wang Shuo. But for Wang Zhen, absolutely not. I despise his character so much. And I also want a good redemption arc for Chi Cheng. God, why am I so bothered again 😅
Hm.... I'll say it now. I know chi cheng is going through a lot.. but even when you see in the past, wang shuo…

He’s such a complex character, a master manipulator and yet vulnerable like a child at the same time. It’s so difficult for me to hate him. This is the first time in my life that I’ve been so bothered by a fictional character.
finally you said all of that i wanted to say hahahaa i also agree for wang shuo has every right to get mad at…
You know what? I'm even more frustrated with Wang Zhen's behavior. The way he treats Wang Shuo is infuriating. You don’t treat someone with mental health issues like this, it only makes things worse for the person. I'm wondering if Wang Shuo will seek proper medical help and move on from Chi Cheng.

God I have never been so bothered by fictional Character before.
Wang Zhen will only worsen Wang Shou's condition with such behaviour.

In today’s episodes I felt pity for him during some scenes.
You don't treat someone with mental health issues like this.
1. What kind of relationship do the Wang brothers have? Does Wang Zhen hate Wang Shuo?
2. Does Wang Shuo actually have those disorders?
3. Did he have those disorders when he was with Chi Cheng?
4. What is the actual issue with Wang Shuo?
