Same way she pushes him to his limits for him to confront his own feelings, like the scene in rain where she lets him find her earrings, which is not lost at all. She pushes him to his limit, to let him know that they both are equally invested in it. She don't want him to sacrifice his love for her but instead let her be there for him.

I would say she probably more obsessed with him than he is. I believe her dating other people is a twisted way of her punishing him for pushing her away and wanting her to live a better life based on his beliefs. For her it was always him. And he wanted her life to be this perfect after his "sacrifice" but in every way she became complete opposite to spite him. That is my observations so far. Thats why after the "incident" she becomes completely different person in every way, drinking, smoking and character too. Everything she does is a twisted way of punishing him for abandoning her

Well he wanted her to move on, so I think she did it puposefully cause he wanted that, her twisted way of punishing him. But I really doubt if she ever felt the deep love she felt for chen yi to anyone else

People don't like it when ML is way too bland too. Giving some micro expressions would be better, cause most scenes we don't know their internal struggles or expression. Wang anyu potrayes it very much through his eyes, gestures etc, but somewhere these things lacks in FL's acting. Probably a scripting or direction issue but most part we don't get what's going on, it feels like he is acting towards a wall.

They are both very prideful characters hence a lot of tug and war, petty fights but that's half the fun. I thought I was gonna watch a soft slow burn romance instead they both are very feisty. There is some tension between them because of the bickering

Well it could've said if the said drama's script is originally non steamy. But the tension is implied so many times, so the disastisfaction is valid. Other non steamy drama's reaches it's full potential cause it is not implied. But this drama was supposed to be little steamy, so the frustration feels valid. But still the chemistry and tension seems good so far

He doesnt trust her at all. First time it was bearable, even when she gave him a chance he still didn't trust her. There is no trust between the leads, nor does she trust him and viceversa. They both love each other but fundamental for a relationship is not there. Instead owning up his mistake and making the communication clear and apologizing to her, he just started love bombing her. The drama was good at the beginning but the miscommunication was so bad. They had good chemistry but what a waste!! Instead of the unnecessary chasing he could've just apologized and make it upto her or show her he trusts her, but then again he is wondering the simple thing and instead of doing the hard and simple work he is just doing all these unnecessary chasing which she clearly doesn't want.
