He's doing it for his daughter so she will the major turning point. Maybe she will see the guys parents and feel sympathic and ask her dad or something or maybe he will do it by himself out of guilt.

I dont know why everyone is negative but i liked it. Especially her ideals, the wife takes care of the house and husband earns money. Thats how it should be. Also if Japanese women are really like this then i would love to find a full time housewife from japan. Atleast they wont cheat and my dream gets fulfilled.
