Okay I started this and watch two episodes and it was boring does it get better? I need dramas that reel me in…
it gets better after ep4, but if slow burn romance not your style, then this is def slow. the plot is 3 dimensional, very layered not the usual fluffy romance. Background of characters are build up slowly so you have better understanding later on. hatred, vengeance, politics, mystery, deep love and amazing fighting/war scenes with bloodshed ~ are the themes.

** major spoiler LBY is actually a Hou or HBY, his real father Gen Hou, who was killed by Ling Yi, his “fake father”, who married his Aunt ( the sister of Gen Huo), who assumes as his “fake mother”. Ling Yi and his aunt had a son, who is LBY/HBY’s cousin who also died in the Gu city massacre.
