You got to be different type of crazy to say it’s too much politics, first 7 episodes the politics doesn’t…
No worries, I understand now what you’re referring to. The first few episodes of every drama setup the world and characters. That’s what gets us as the audience interested/invested. The ML is a general during war times, so it’s unavoidable not to have war scenes, but if that’s not your cup of tea it’s ok. It looks like in the episode 10 preview we’ll be getting more of the fantasy element you may be interested in.

I was confused too. They only showed the palace for 2 minutes in the beginning of episode 6. The majority of the first 7 episodes have been spent on setting up the world and main characters. I haven’t gotten strong political or palace vibes at all.

This is beautiful! So excited to see her experience the feeling of touch, something she has dreamed about for centuries. Oh, the chemistry is chemistrying!!😍
This is the perfect balance between wuxia and xianxia. I’m loving the battle scenes, the visuals are stunning. The ML as a general uses his ingenuity to overcome his foes and protect the people of Liang dynasty. The FL as the Sovereign of Spirits, is intrigued by the mortal realm, having spent centuries aloof and detached. Fate has brought them together, they both want something that only the other can give. I’m hooked, I can’t wait for the new episodes to drop!
