The reason Chen Hui went on get money in the first place is bcoz his mom talked about the rising costs of Song Ge's dialysis money. Did someone ask the Chen family to feed Gao Songge when her grandparents died, no Chen Hongbing did it because he was guilty of not solving his ex-fiancee's murder. You bring an orphan home because your husband wanted to, and when she is ill costing you a lot of money the same mom starts trash talking. Chen Hui became what he is today because of his family if you ask me...

After watching episode 15, I understand why Xu Kai called Chen Hui gray rather than evil. He wasn't evil but was neither good, the situations forced him to take a path that he never intended to take in this life 😭 It was simply two people trying to survive in this damned world by using damned ways
