It was clearly shown in episode 15, that Ji Ling is Yuan Xizai. Yuan Wuhuo remembered his actual brother going into the explosion after Li Jie did the same, but left him to die in the illusion

To think the script took that damned path which I never wanted the Ranran to take. It's 2026 and you want to showcase that kind path for a girl to act. Yes, the drama period is around 1995-2000 but was really there no other way to make a girl live her dream. The same script writer who wrote that God was ruthless decided he should be the 2nd ruthless guy at the table. I'm considering dropping it at this point. Came here just to see Ruonan got attached with the cast at Seasons Change and now I have to go through bullshit ?
