I actually appreciate how the obstacles were resolved quickly although very aloof. I wished it focused more on the high school days leading to the reunion and musical storyline. Manager plotline was a total waste of time. If only they expanded on the mother or even the second couple it would have been a tighter story.
The main leads had amazing chemistry and potential. Hopefully we’ll see them more of them.
Cute but it’s borderline on infantilization for Sui. I find myself put off by the overtly cutesy feminine characterization. That type of character very annoying even when they are typically played by females. Hopefully he will gain more confidence and I do see hints of that developing.
How are they even making 10 episodes? The manga is short, and the next episode already covers about half of the…
Ah so it’s probably gonna be similar to the Proper Way to Write Love. The manga was a short porno with little depth and story. The drama greatly improved on the source material and imo superior. Hopefully they can do that for this one too. The director is from Our Youth.
just small ones, in first episode when Hui Leuk Tou arrives at the company by car and steps out of it, second…
Same especially if they are obnoxiously long. I wished more use just a title card so they don’t waste runtime. Can’t tell you how many times I was excited for long episodes and it turns out a third of it is just the opening and credits.

It seems they dropped a lot of the AI in the second episode. I didn’t see any of those AI b rolls/transitions like in the first one. The opening credits is still AI
Pretty good! Story is intriguing and I thought it was gonna be another typical toxic relationship but they turned it around in just one episode. I’m glad the officer didn’t give in immediately and the Suit realizes his juvenile tactics isn’t going to work. I’m also glad that it’s not dubbed over!
I like it but the student’s acting… I wish he made a different choice in interpreting the role. Acting cute…
Yeah I get what you mean and at times it’s like he’s playing a different character. He’s sometimes awkward and aloof but other times he’s ditzy cute with that waddling walk. He might be getting terrible direction because I prefer the aloof version.
How other lady (TMH's real world ex gf) remembered his presence when his existence is deleted?also I think everything…
Been a while but I don’t think CYW is a copy of TMH per say but a reflection of TMH. If I recall correctly TMH lived with his grandmother after he was abandoned by his mother. I don’t believe he knew his father? He was supposed to befriend CYW and understand the value of life but they ended up falling in love.
It’s pretty good! Strong first episode and I like the premise. However, Sui is one of those overtly cutesy infantilized characters that I loathe. I do love an adorable guy but man this depiction is definitely not working for me. Might as well just watch a hetero J Drama… I’ll see if I can endure the cringe.

Yeah I get what you mean. When they make one of the leads a completely incompetent dunce are the cute ones I loathe. I do like some of those toxic series like the KBL Thundercloud Rainstorm but if it’s just Stockholm Syndrome or God forbid the grape to love, I just can’t see the appeal. I have been meaning to watch Winter Sun but that Thai tag made hesitant. I’ll definitely move it up my watchlist but man this flood of JBLs is a Godsend!
Guys, after series like Payback, To my shore, Double helix, Don't be too emotional ect you forgot that healthy…
Hit the nail on the head. I believe that’s why many great JBLs and other slower paced BLs are rated so low because people want them to be Thai/CBLs. Personally, I don’t enjoy those overtly abusive/manipulative/borderline creepy relationships and the infantilization or over feminization of gays is very problematic. Also, not many people discuss this but those more raunchy Thai and CBLs are even more formulaic and predictable than the typical high school J/KBL. Can’t tell you how many highly rated series drop plot and character development to speed run to the NC scenes. I mean there’s even more misunderstandings and “love” rivals in Thai BLs and it happens more than once in a single series!
