Title Double Helix
From reading the other posts, it appears many liked this episode. Well, I'm not in that many. This was one of…
Also reading people’s comments trying desperately to rationalize this behavior is hilarious and frankly disturbing. In my opinion if you truly love someone you wouldn’t plot revenge and do unspeakable things to them. You would accept the apology and move forward.

okay! Guess I was wrong to doubt it. Looks like both couples are going to be very interesting. Still too short! Can’t wait for the next episodes

Man these episodes are way too short. I might have to wait until it finishes airing but thankfully it’s two episodes a week… Idk why they didn’t just combine two episodes to make them 25 minutes long. Kinda feels like it’s supposed to be that way since the endings for them are awkwardly cut.

So far It’s good and I’m honestly more interested in the second pairing. I’m just not convinced that the “drama” for the main is gonna be good. It’s obvious they like each other so the reason behind the ghosting needs to be compelling. I was hoping it was going to be a friends to lovers thing where the idol wins over the trainee but it looks like it’ll be a simple misunderstanding that’ll be resolved quickly… Hopefully not to make room for more couples because that’s the main issue with the first season. Too short with too many pairings. Two should be the max since they returned to short episodes.

lives up to the name! Absolutely an enjoyable watch especially towards the end when it becomes fluff and domestic. I think the whole corporate plotline could have been done better and is the only negative aspect of the show besides some awkward scenes and acting (not from the main leads they were awesome). Personally I don’t find succession conflict that interesting and him just picking up the phone like a cheat code really made it a hard watch for me. If they had spent more time on Koichi winning over Yu and leaning more into the “from different worlds” for the drama, it would have been a 10/10 for me.

Title Double Helix
Literally 5 times , their relationship went a roundabout. First, When LF got drunk and started forcing himself…
welp I’ve seen some comments and clips that made it seem like they’re not doing that whole non con stuff but thankfully I can across your comment. I’ve seen the original movies and heard a bit about the novel (not good things) and I’ve written this one off. Not a fan of the whole disgusting Non con stuff especially when it’s treated as romantic. Such a shame because the actors have amazing chemistry. Hopefully they’ll appear again in a less stereotypical fetishized story.

Really good! Having the episodes to let the story breathe is a huge improvement over the previous season. Unfortunately I think it would have benefited from having one less couple like the former. There’s a reason why two has become a norm since having more is extremely hard to pull off. Although all of them were interesting and cute I think the TA/Student plot could’ve benefited from being in its own season. I didn’t quite enjoy nor understand the Siu storyline but it did serve its purpose as tension. I do like how Kim An and SiU resolved their conflict themselves instead but like the stalker plotline in the previous season it just ends a bit awkwardly. It is a bit aloof overall with the logic and how Lee An’s problems with the situation suddenly disappears or shows up when it’s convenient. Heck I thought Si U was a ghost when he first showed up.

Hopefully Season 3 focuses more on the main characters dynamics and natural creating tension from that instead of forcefully cramming a drama plotline like the others.

Title Love Class
Short and sweet. Loved the main leads but I wished more time was spent on building their relationship instead of the professor/student plotline or the unrequited love from the best friend that I honestly skipped through. Despite what others think the stalker plot did served its purpose as a driving force in the story to bring the main leads together although it had a rather awkward conclusion. They should have focused more on the “Love Class” aspect so the confession scene had more meaningful moments to reference and Cha Jiwoo’s sudden change of affection would have been more convincing if their relationship couldn’t be condensed down into a 30 sec montage. Overall enjoyable and I do appreciate a short character who didn’t fall into the short caricature trope, Lee Roa is “better at receiving” anyway.

An okay short drama. There’s tension with the story and some chemistry between the leads but the plot and pacing are off. The fake out kiss was pretty funny but expected because of the casting of a boy group. Acting was pretty decent from them. Overall enjoyable but don’t expect too much.

I hate that the annoying behavior of a delusional kid who’s obsessed, won’t take no for an answer, and harasses…
Eh it’s more of persistence than obsession. The teacher explained his reasons for not pursuing a relationship when they reunited. Honestly prefer the never give up types over the disgusting non con Stockholm syndrome trope that’s making a comeback now.

It’s decent. Cute storyline. Always a pleasure to watch Yoojin Seok and Lee Chang In’s acting is improving bit by bit. I would love to see him play a different character archetype but he plays cute well. Short and sweet I would say.

Title The Gaze
If he was 6, I would understand but he's grown up. sleeping together like that, spooning and embracing his brother,…
Well… that’s good to know. Definitely not gonna watch this and apparently the story is remarkably similar to another. I especially dread the infantilization of gay men so I tend to avoid any media with that depiction.

Lead actors are homophobics/look down on lgbt relationships https://x.com/i/status/2057997204284199178There are…
Wow… are we for real? I read the article and nothing they said was “homophobic” or “looking down” on gay relationships. I’m a gay man and I completely understand what they are saying in the context of that article. It’s obvious they are talking about how it feels more real because of how they filmed it like a literal documentary.

If you have more examples then please share so I can read them myself. Otherwise…

Are we really trying to play the victim card here? Are we really taking the meaning out of homophobia by crying wolf? Is reading comprehension not a thing? Are people nowadays obsessed with trying to “fight the good fight” because they got nothing else going on in their lives? Grow up.

Religion is definitely a sensitive subject especially when there are other religions that are way more deserving…
Yeah I think it’s gonna be like that. Thankfully there are other dramas that tackle the subject respectfully and creatively. It’s why I loved Soul Mate because of its subtle inclusion of Christian theology and a character who keeps his faith throughout.

it’s cute. Story could have been done better because it felt a bit all over the place with the dating show and the “real” drama. I would have preferred flashbacks of their high school days to college exploring Jian’s one sided love over the X storyline. Acting from the leads was great even though it was stiff at times. The editing not so much. I have a feeling this was filmed traditional without vertical format in mind as many scenes were cropped awkwardly. I hope these two get more roles in the future!

End Credits is the MV entitled 'Too Cute To Handle' by Chang Chun-chia's T-POP group named F.F.O. (Link: https://youtu.be/ymA0u0u9t3U?si=0QVtmvcpnxl8nWyD…
Thank you! I recognize the song and was gonna look them up. I think I heard it on another Taiwanese BL but I can’t remember.

Cute! Reminds me of the feeling I had with The Promise of the Soul. Also, are they all in a boy group? MV as the end credits?
