LXY is one of the few actors who don't allow them to be typecast. He was despicable in L&R, dashing in Love at Night, the ever cool, best looking monk in BOY, and upright but at time like a puppy in love in this drama. He's getting more lead roles last couple of years. Since this drama is doing well, I hope it can propel his status further, getting more lead roles in high profile, high budget dramas.

That was a bad production team. Beyond not doing due diligence on the IP for copyright, they actually had an issue with the main CP and changed the script to focus on the very boring second CP in the second half. It speaks volumes ZLY did not hire them for Shen Li.
For someone who really dislikes this drama, you know the whole story! Thanks for giving the show a watch! You contributed to the large amount of views its getting, the more views the better for the show. Good job! It sucked you right in. HAHA!
I love the chemistry of these two. But I have to say it again, I really hate how SL's lipstick is so jacked up on her upper lip. I find it distracting when they show her full face. She is so pretty. It just catches my attention every time. Dang, they could have hired me to follow her lip line correctly.

I was just kidding. I am also using the app, and see the reviews as well. Some people write reviews after watching one episode (or a few minutes of one episode), while others wait until the entire drama is completed before writing their reviews. There is no set rules. The drama ends in April I think.
Shen Li is so badass in battle with the Beast. He thought he had conquered her by swallowing her, not knowing it was her strategic act to destroy it. How can someone be fashionably late to a battle? I wanted to slap Xing Zhi's face so badly. His excuse was that he was no longer familiar with the realm—the nerve of the guy. Shen Li was so happy to see him again, but he had pretended he had never met her. It's like, "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas."
SL was getting it with her spear! Yes, girl was working it. Love me some SL. Warrior princess.

No triangle yet. It’s one sided. She is just boring. I don’t understand why she was made Wu Geng’s Master. She doesn’t demonstrate any impressive cultivation.
On ep 14 and maybe it’s just me but I find the whole Beauty & The Beast arc of Bai Cai and Shi Xing way more interesting then Wu Geng’s prodigal son storyline.
