Exactly as you comment - lives to slay anyone. Went off her the beginning of this year due to the constant negativity. Not particularly a Cheng Yi fan and its clear he is holding his own in this drama.
I’m going to start this today finally and I have a lot to catch up on. Apparently this thing has a lot of moving parts and the comment section is very active and I’m glad you guys are telling us what you see and your opinions. I will be very intrigued to see how this plays out will catch up obviously in a few days as I’m not planning to watch 12 episodes in one lol.
Obviously watching because of Cheng Yi. But oh my God, I am so impressed by everything in this drama so far. It feels like a movie. Ep 6 and not a single screen time felt wasted or filler-like. Only concern is that it’s a CY drama so I shouldn’t expect a happy ending? Lolll
I started it randomly because I wanted to have a drama playing so I could fall asleep got hooked by the first 6 episodes, thought it was worth following even though it was old... gave me the "older xianxia" vibe where everyone just acts dumb and unreasonable for the sake of it tbh it's not unwatchable but I really wouldn't recommend it
