A country whose police are notorious for minimising sexual and physical violence against women is not one I'll trust to determine statutory rape, especially where the victim has passed and cannot speak for themselves, and the alleged perpetrator is someone of means and popularity.
Saying you dated someone you've known since she was a child, someone you were 13 years older than right after she reached legal age, "after she became an adult" (18/19 ) is not the defence you think it is.
These two things are enough for me to form my opinions.
