The drama is setting the viewers up for a downfall as it relates to the FL. She is not actually a lead at all. We are half way through the drama and they still have not developed their relationship beyond an accidental boom boom and a hey hows it going encounter.
She comes in and out of the original story sparingly at best - a hand full of times for relatively short intervals. The ML is the center of the story, its his story, and the FL is a side player like everyone else in his story.
In fact, Han Li does not even realize he wants her to be the FL of his own life until episode 155/56 of the dongue (not even out yet)! Lets see how they move the relationship forward enough to satisfy the viewers. I would guess they do not as they are sticking close to the dongue storyline.

I really like the story so far, and the editing had much improved. However, just like Blood of Youth, it has one single flaw - Male Lead and Female Lead have little chemistry. They are gorgeous on their own, suit the novel description, but as couples they just don’t click together 😐
I don’t really care for romance in such types of drama, however it is somewhat distracting

I wonder if it would have been your favorite actress instead of ZLS would you still say the same thing? If she doesn't speak up then no one would ever know what's happening to her. From her posts you can see she has already gotten a lawyer and she has collected all evidence & recordings. She doesn't have powerful backing and is going to fight legally against a capitalist. Although her agency is small and she's the only popular star in her company, her agency is under Alibaba. And Alibaba is huge in China. Yesterday they kept on buying black hot searches and recruited water armies for ZLS so that they(her agency) can control the narrative to make her look bad, and sound like a psycho irresponsible person who doesn't want to compensate. In today's livestream she said that this issue isn't simple that can be solved after a mere Douyin livestream or a weibo post. And that it'll be a long ongoing process, she wanted to let everyone involved know clearly. For the past 8 months she didn't post anything personal on weibo and finally spoke out yesterday after long waiting for her agency to give her a reply for negotiation of termination of contract and give her studio rights back to her. It's not that she's unwilling to pay for her termination of contract. But her agency kept on giving her excuses and continued to mistreat and threaten her. In X (twitter), a fan of actress XYZ said when my fav actress was in tax evasion case she remained silent, kept on tolerating on her own. Fans like them should try to understand that ZLS is not under any tax scandal, her case is different. She was abused by her agency. When we are abused should we remain silent? Tax evasion scandal is handled by the govt., the only option in that case is to remain silent and wait for the result. Also at that time you can't post anything. If ZLS didn't speak up no one would ever know how she is being mistreated and her agency would continue to threaten her to remain silent. There's a breakdown point of every human being where they no longer can tolerate. Still if some people refuse to believe her regarding her condition, the threats and contract, then it can't be helped. You're free to do so, just pray for your favorite actress/actor that they don't have to go through what Lusi is going through. Because ultimately all agencies are the same. Money is what they prioritize. If one actor/actress gets ruined, another will come. Also China doesn't lack in new actors and actresses.
actually she did a huge mistake herself, she said that in 2019 she was facing both physical and emotional abuse from the agency, and in 2020 it was her first kind of a hit drama aka tiger and rose, then the long ballad even tho she was not the lead but she kind of got more popular and then n2022 which is her biggest hit till now LLTG and that was the perfect chance to leave bc she kind of got at a point where if she left there will be a least one company that will sign with her, and in 2023 with hidden love and even tho it was not as big in china it open more doors and that was the year her contract ended, so why would you stay with a company who has been abusing you since 2019 when you had the BEST chance to leave??? and she did nothing illegal to face any hate or to be blacklisted so they have nothing against her, but she chose to stay which was weird bc nobody would stay in such a situation unless the contract has not ended or they are holding something against her, which i do not think they do bc she would not dare to say anything against them in that situation , so her only reason to stay is that she was dumb or scared that no other company will sign her, i hope she get throu this asap bc the industry is way too toxic, if people got bored of you, it will be hard for you to comeback. but i think she will stay with them bc that is what the contract says, she can not leave until 2030 and if she did she will have to do what she signed for, and sadly i do not think a good lawyer can help bc you signed yourself, you were totally aware of what you doing, unless she has proofs that did they did something illegal like giving her dru/s or beat her to sign, if none she will have to pay real money to leave, i just hope she will not just leave like that bc they will sue her and that would make things worst, she really needs to take legal actions, and she needs to be careful of what she says and what she does, even dating can make things 10 times harder for her

I know these agency suck..can be greedy...ect...
But, somehow....something feel off to me....my gut instincts has this off wierd feeling
I know it's neither here or there......but i can't shake it off since it first came to light....
