What makes an actor/actress impactful in a drama story? To me is that after watching this show, I cannot imagine anyone else as He Si Mu or Duan Xu, they made their roles in the stories believable, and that’s what make this drama good to watch.🤩🤩🤩
Not as bad as I fear....Reba's acting is really solid here, this will shut anyone who dares to say she can't act. It was Arthur's acting that worried me because, there's stiff acting and there's Arthur's stiff acting.....yeah he has a category on his own, fortunately he's okay here, all in this is a good drama.
I don’t think he’s boring, he’s introverted and charming - and that evidently showed when he was in the variety show “Wow the World.”
“He has witnessed many versions of himself: the lively and silent one; the raw joys and sorrows on set; and the dark complexity of his characters. He holds all of these facets within himself - neither denying them nor indulging in them. He allows emotions to pass through him. He can feel low. He can be insipid. He can be boring.”
The statement above not only describes CXX, but most, if not, all actors. Their art is entertainment and they deliver emotions that can or will affect them. He was a child actor and much like Wu Lei, we have witnessed some breaks in acting, which is okay - they’re allowed to rest. I hope he can take some time to relax and breathe. He is a wonderful actor and I respect his artistry, and hope that he continues to shine.

There are at least thirty cast members, and each character has their own "Feihua Ling"-style poster. Here is the poster for General Yun Silin (Yun Chu's father): https://x.com/yunchuling/status/2040195084575232436

His cry in the 100 Day Prince will always be my most favorite!! wow 16 already.
i am watching 100 dmp right now and i had to stop the part where he was crying for his dead mother just to look for him on mydramalist, i couldn't even recognise his picture because he grew so much and changed, i love his acting i am defenitely gonna check more of his work
Terrific write-up, I really enjoyed that. I'm not the biggest Esther fan, but you've sold me. I've added both…
You're welcome. "Let's Fight" will likely include several comedic moments between the leads. I am looking forward to the differences in the drama unlike the short story (such as a happy ending) :D
"Yunchu's Vengeance" is an adaptation of a very-engaging novel. I quite enjoyed it. Stepmother bent on revenge and diabolically capable is a fresh take. If there are only 24 episodes, I can easily guess what they'll leave out from the novel.
On an unrelated note, numerous final edits (not applied by me, to my article draft that I submitted) are starkly different from my previous two articles, thus coming across as somewhat jarring. One of these issues includes at least nine extra commas in the above final version mucking up certain sentences. Makes the article-writer appear to have a problematic command of English in certain aspects, when that's not the case for me.
Perhaps I will revert to the writing style of my first two articles, for my next article.
All of these Chinese actors and actresses are exceedingly slender, merely skin and bones; I genuinely cannot understand the appeal they see in them. Being chubby is also a beauty, as in cute. Feeling really sad, the Chinese government should bring a law or regulation to address these things. Malnourished actors or actresses should not be given any chance.
Their beauty standards and workload are inhumane, managements only see them as cash cows and fans don't help either with their constant criticism. I remember Lu Yuxiao being bullied for looking "fat" when that's just healthy normal weight, they'd rather have these actresses fall sick than look normal...
Bai Lu also faced some health issues last year and announced that Unveil Jade will be her last drama she'll film that requires high intensity martial arts scenes, fearing for her health. Also saw recently that she's been trying to lose weight😬 probably for a role but she's already so skinny, what more is there to shed?
