The game was just as fun the second time around
This sequel kept the fun, lighthearted energy of the first story while giving the characters a chance to grow. The romance was sweet, the comedy landed most of the time, and the story never tried to be more complicated than it needed to be.
MaxBas chemistry is so effortless that they make every interaction feel natural, whether it's the funny moments or the more emotional ones. They have that kind of easy connection that makes it impossible not to root for their characters, and they carried the drama from beginning to end. I also liked that the supporting cast added warmth instead of taking the focus away from the main couple. While I wish a few conflicts had been explored a little more, this was still such an enjoyable sequel.
