While watching, I always ask myself the same question: "Why did he choose this drama? Why? It's complete trash!"The script is terrible, there's no chemistry between the male and female leads, and honestly, even casting a different actress as the female lead wouldn't have saved this show because the script itself is a complete mess.I really hate this kind of plot. The female lead keeps showing how sick and fragile she is over and over again, and the male lead falls in love with her because... he feels sorry for her? That's just ridiculous. This drama should have been labeled 13+, nothing more. It's full of outdated, cheesy melodrama that went out of fashion a long time ago.Hyo Seop just wasted his time on this drama. Hyo Seop deserves dramas such as Abyss, that was awesome! after not really .. period šš¾
a lil boring first episodes , but after become interesting. I think the series deserve between 7 & 8 rating. no matter are romance or not, it's all about script in general. watched it in Spanish lol its went so cool ( to watch Asians speak Spanish goes naturally lol better than if u watch em English)
Hyun Bin has a Jonny Depp's smile š really , jus realize. when he smiles his eyes and smile looks exactly like Johnny Depp lol that's awwš something ironically, satisfaction of himself lol like' "he got someone" š
Perhaps it may come across as an unpopular opinion, but I think WDH is tailor-made for the Noona-Romance and BL…
let's just leave the handsome male actor to be a male even in his roles not bl.. I won't see handsome male actor as bl.. and in real life nor online , if a man handsome that's not mean "he definitely bl or should play bl". let's just a handsome male to be just a handsome male. not gay or bl.
II watched this because of Lee Jae Wook, canāt deny that historical is his genre, AND I prefer historical than…
I sometimes feel that historical dramas are trying to show us how pure and honest love seemed more possible and clear in the past compared to today. And in a way, I agreeādeep, genuine feelings do seem rare nowadays. Some people say that because of modern progress, people no longer invest time in things that donāt bring material benefit, especially not in other people without expecting something in return. But I donāt think thatās entirely true. Even in ancient times, they had their own form of progressāitās not like their lives were boring or empty. Just because they didnāt have technology like we do, doesnāt mean they had nothing to do except fall in love and have children. When we look closely at historical dramas or real history, we can see that people still loved deeply, despite living in different circumstances. So I believe that the existence of 'pure love' doesnāt depend on how advanced or simple life is. Progress itself doesnāt prevent loveāwhat really matters is the people. Whether it's the past or the present, the ability to love deeply depends on the individual, not the time period.
I also want to point out that the music and sound effects in this series harmoniously resonate with the storyline ā the music matches each scene perfectly, at the right time and in the right place. On top of that, the scenes themselves, the visuals, the actors' performances ā everything is so incredibly well-balanced! It's something that rarely happens. It's just unbelievably epic ā it feels almost real!
man was the entire antagonist himself that needed to be taken out first, every other would've fallen in place.…
yeap ok know they trust them nowadays too and are many cults there .. what I can say ..Koreans have much passion than chinese ( show that is n dramas too)( maybe that US influence*) but less self control in reality ( about shamans etc)

I mean the scene where shown what's went actually with her son and that shaman just steal him ( ok guess that was shaman at the end who put his body put his body in well) , that the maid could not find the body later.. and meanwhile the mother trusted this shaman. and if you look, then none of the parents searched all the wells properly and all fresh traces of clay in the well / near or at least some could be found. also the maid did not tell the truth
I'm not very good with words, but I think you've translated how I feel watching him act.
I have many fav k'actors including Eun Woo etc.. but many of the so handsome.. but I think only Jae Wook can show really deep strong feelings thro screen ..not only handsome face lol "the feelings how we imagine they supposed to be shown "
You can clearly feel this unhealthy obsession throughout the drama, and it's really off-putting.
Secondly, the cast has absolutely no harmony, not to mention the complete lack of chemistry. Ahn Hyo Seop is on his own, Chae Won Bin is on her own, and Kim Bum doesn't fit into this drama at all! These actors are completely incompatible in this series. It feels like each of them is not belong to o such unbelievable.
Thirdly, actors don't choose dramas just because they always want
They choose projects for many different reasons: they need money, a friend asked them to join even though the script is terrible and doomed to fail, they want more exposure even if the script is complete trash, and so on. If Ahn really chose this drama because he genuinely liked the script, then my opinion of him drops a little... After all, an actor should know how to choose good scripts wisely.
Definitely it's š©
