This isn't a DMD production. Except for Naughty Babe and the Cutie Pie series none of their series have been DMD…
This one is under DMD. You can even see it on the drama's poster. The pilot and the official trailer is also under DMD's channel, as well as the ep1 rerun.
They had Y-Destiny, Suntiny and ChermChey (only an appearance) under Copy A Bangkok. This, Naughty Babe and Cutie Pies is DMD's.
I'm surprised no one is posting about the 12 year age difference between the ML. That sort of thing always freaks…
Because there's a difference when a 16-year-old actor plays BL with someone pushing 30 which really is strange but the younger one here is already soon to be 24 which is long past the age of consent and age of legal maturity (not only in Thailand but in most of the world as well). They're both independent adults at this point. Plus this series isn't even supposed to be a spicy one so I personally don't see much of an issue here.
I love how balanced this dramas is. It is tense and angsty but still in a reasonable measures. I really liked Love in the Moonlight but the stress levels were insane there for me.
The tarot card bit feels unnecessary. Could have gone with Thai folklore or superstitions considering the subject…
I think it's an interesting motive but that's maybe bc I really like tarot, however what troubled me more is that they even didn't name the latest one correctly. The third episode was named Five of Wands but the card shown was Five of Swords, lol. Pretty avoidable mistake.
Hey @LavenderFox, can you please tell me the couple name and series from your profile picture?
Hiya! It's from Dear Doctor, I'm Coming for Soul (2022) and the couple is Nut and Karn (Karn does music now, known as Wim, and in the past from HYBS duo). They did two BLs together and nothing since, sadly.
I'm glad they did some basic explaining of the world in the first ep. As much as I loved Pit Babe back then, if I didn't have friedns who introduced me to Omegaverse, I wouldn't have any idea what they're about bc it barely explained the concept.
When I saw this show is made by the same director and screen writer as Dinosaur Love, I almost fained... But it's been a long time, the budget is different and ppl can get better, right?... And it seems all of it happened. The first episode was really nicely paced, it was funny, the characters are likeable and the cinematography style is very interesting, it reminded me of Gelboys in a tiny bit. A really nice start I have to say.
The poster confirms it will air on their YouTube channel LoveMedia Thailand. Whether Gaga will pick it as well…
I completely understand that. I prefer streaming platforms too but if there's no other official source, watching on their YouTube Channel is the best we can do to support them.
bro what the hell did tou watch last weekend?ðŸ˜ðŸ‘€
I watch BL pretty chronically, so for you and all wondering here, haha...
Getting kidnapped and held hostage: Fourever You Part 2: Lately, It's Winter Season (though it was portrayed pretty lightly there) Discovering mother's skeleton in an unmarked grave: Flower Boy (definitely watch, not as scary as it may sound just like that) Walking on ex commiting suicide: Your Dear Daddy.
Getting beaten up by the boss could be Payback, the stabbing happened there too.
I started enjoying this after a few eps in but I'm sad (maybe a bit mad too) that they let it end so unfinished. I can see where they were going with it but if feels to me they wasted so much time around and didn't manage to close everything they started. There was no progress in Tao Sor's condition and his real mother left without knowing her only son lives with a family who forced an identity of their lost child onto him. Finally, Talay gives in and then they didn't actually meet. Well...
or you could sail the seven seas and pirate it 😉 not that I'm endorsing it but ya know
I know very well, haha. Since I have the platforms already, I like to watch and support legally but if there's no other choice, I've got my eye patch ready. XD
Humbly uttering my pleading prayer for GagaOOLala (or other platform) to pick this drama so us who don't have Viu available would get to watch this as well, sadhu! I really do want to see Bas on my screen again.
I've noticed one thing. Love Pattranite is an amazing actress but it has been 7 years and we still haven't see…
For how ravenous the industry is, I think she's getting decent roles. Even here, I think she got an amazing one. Out of all, she's the smartest, most lucid character who snapped out of her own mess pretty quickly. She's always one step ahead and always ready for everything.
Why the episode timer shows ep3 on May 26 when ep2 is out on the same date (on Gaga)
Because it's original platform (TrueVisionsNow) probably premiered two eps but Gaga didn't. I've seen them sharing promos for ep3 already on social media. But can't verify that bc it's not available for my region on there.
Social status i would think. Maybe the Lords don't want to chew Betel Nuts?
It used to be more status related but in its final days the higher society stopped it sooner to show the west they have similar looking customs as one of the protective measure not to get colonized like the neighboring countries.
