I was gonna ask why is the rating dropping but then I remembered that I didn’t like the Pursuit of Jade and…
I think the rating is dropping because there is very less interaction between the leads in the last few episodes and the last episodes are draggy. I loved pursuit of jade but I didn’t like fated hearts. But saying that this drama is not very bad is good but could have been less episodes.
I think this drama should have ended with 32 episodes or even less. It gets sooooo draggy ep by ep and its really painful to see a good drama ending on that note.
This drama is so addictive! The actors are great, and I have to say, I used to not like the actress, but she has done an amazing job here.
That said, I still feel this whole drama is missing something. Everything always feels rushed. The emotions are real, and the actors have done a great job portraying them, but again, there is something missing that I just can't put into words.
I know that at the age of 18, school kids can have this kind of love story, but sometimes while watching certain scenes, I found myself wondering, Have they already grown up, or are they still 18? I think part of that confusion comes from Mango TV's subtitles as well, but even then, I can't quite explain what's missing.
Despite that, this is such an addictive drama, and I am not ready to let these characters go. It will definitely be on my rewatch list—at least for some episodes.
And a huge shoutout to Daniel Zhou... wowwww! He is amazing, and I'm sure he will become one of the leading stars in the years to come.
I'm currently on Episode 35 since Viki hasn't released the remaining episodes yet.
I am really loving the pairing of Bai Lu and Cheng Lei. To be honest, Bai Lu seems to have amazing chemistry with all of her male leads, and Cheng Lei is an incredible actor in his own right. So when the two of them were paired together, I had high expectations—and they definitely delivered.
The overall story has been good, but there were a few parts that felt either unnecessarily dragged out or not executed as well as they could have been.
Li Mountains arc: I understand the need to show Ye Li's backstory and explain why she became the way she is. However, this entire arc felt oddly paced. At times it seemed too rushed, while at other times it dragged on longer than necessary. I honestly can't decide which it was, but something about the pacing felt off. Romance between the leads: They had some really sweet moments together, but I personally would have loved to see more romance. It felt like every emotional beat happened too quickly. If they were upset with each other, the conflict was resolved in less than a scene. Likewise, the romantic moments rarely lasted more than a few minutes before the story moved on. I felt like something was missing in the development of their relationship. Supporting characters: I would have loved to see more screen time for the Han brothers and the Princess of Cangbei. They were interesting characters, and I think they deserved a bit more focus in the story.
Must Watch but I am not sure if we can watch it again.
I think so, I feel want to drop off every time focusing on FL
Please don’t maybe she was young when this was taken but she has good lineups with great actors . My experience is if you drop a drama because of not liking the FL you can never watch her dramas again but if you finish it then you can give her a chance on upcoming dramas
Hello everyone, in my region I am unable to see this drama in Iqiyi or I don’t want to see this in mango tv as their subtitles are but very good. Is there any other way that I can watch this drama?
This was a great drama. I have to admit that I used to not really like the actress, but she did such a good job in this drama that I was wrong about my previous opinion of her. Her performance really changed my mind.
The drama felt a little slow for me in the beginning, but after episode 10, I was really glad that I did not drop it. The story became much more engaging, and I enjoyed the way it developed.
Cheng Lei is an amazing actor. I have not watched many of his dramas before, but after seeing him in this, I can say that he is truly a great actor. His performance stood out to me, and he made the drama even more enjoyable.
The storyline was good, and all the actors did an amazing job. I never felt bored once the story picked up, and the music was also very nice. Some scenes felt like they were not completely necessary, but overall, that was okay and did not affect my enjoyment of the drama.
Overall, I really enjoyed this drama. It started slowly for me, but it became worth watching, and I am glad I continued it.

I subscribed for watching never ending summer and their subtitles really suck. Is there any other website I can watch?
