THE MOST TOUCHING LOVE BETWEEN FRIENDS AND LOVERS
This is the most recent drama that is really good with an inner feel of connectivity to it. The new dramas (especially modern romantic dramas) have no sense of connection and that has becoming bore and feels like no value to watch it. Sometimes personally I start watching and drop in the middle and start watching old dramas. But in this drama THE CAST IS PERFECT, THE COUPLES HAVE GOOD CHEMISTRY/PHYSICS OR BIOLOGY WHATEVER YOU WANT TO CALL, THE FRIENDSHIP SHOWN IS GREAT AND WE COULD CONNECT WITH THEM AND EVEN EMPATHISE WITH THEM. FROM THE MAIN LEADS TO THE GUEST PERFORMERS ALL WERE PERFECT.Let's say something about the drama now(ofcourse with no spoilers ;) )
- AWESOME STORYLINE
- GREAT DIRECTION
- GOOD MUSIC
- GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR AND LOVE.
Overall this is a drama after long time (in modern romantic dramas) that one can watch without thinking oh the her is not good or the heroine is not good or the acting is not good or it is too draggy etc etc etc. Let's all watch this drama and support the team from the production(back stage workers to actors) - okay? thumbs up if you will and thumbs down asking me to stop haha : )

WORST PAIR
THE MAJOR DRAWBACK IS THE CHEMISTRY PHYSICS OR GEOGRAPHY BETWEEN THE COUPLE.DYLAN WANG IS AN AWESOME ACTOR BUT HE CANNOT BE AN ARROGANT CEO - IT JUST DOESN'T SUIT. IF NOT FOR HIM I THINK THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN AN AWESOME ROMANCE BETWEEN THE CEO AND THE AMBITIOUS GIRL.
THE STORY IS OKAY BUT TOOO SLOW THAT I WANT TO QUIT WATCHING CHINESE DRAMAS AS A WHOLE BUT IF IT WOULD HAVE BEEN FOR ANOTHER ACTOR I THINK THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN AN SUPER HIT DRAMA.
THE SECOND COUPLE AND THIRD COUPLE WERE AND ARE AWESOME. THE ROLES COULD HAVE BEEN CHANGED WERE YU YOU COULD HAVE BEEN THE MAIL LEAD AND GUAN JI IN YU YOU'S ROLE AND DYLAN IN GUAN JI ROLE OR JUST DROP DYLAN AND BRING SOME OTHER TALENTED ACTOR. DIRECTOR AND CAST PRODUCERS DID AN UTTERLY FLOP SELECTION .

A Mature Workplace Drama with Subtle Romance and Real-Life Struggles
This is a very mature drama without unnecessary cringe scenes. It depicts the environment of a typical workspace, both on and off air. While I’m unsure if gender bias still exists in the airline industry for female pilots, the show highlights that women can work in any field they choose. The actors gave great performances, especially Wang Kai, who has completely captured my heart. If you're looking for a sweet romance without any physical affection like kisses or hugs, and prefer a slow build-up until the 38th episode, this is the series for you. However, I believe that at some point, many viewers might feel bored and drop the show. The drama mainly focuses on workplace settings, showing the struggles of employees and the typical challenges with higher-ups. Personally, I found it very interesting and fast-paced, though I would’ve appreciated a few more deeper romantic moments, like a kiss or hug, to make it more balanced. Was this review helpful to you?
Powerful. Emotional. Unforgettable – The Must-Watch Drama of 2025
One of the best dramas I have seen in recent times. The actors delivered exceptional performances, and the emotional depth carries through the entire series. Some characters appear for just a single episode, yet they leave such a lasting impression you can’t stop thinking about them. Every actor, no matter how big or small their role, truly brought their character to life.I have never been a fan of costume or fantasy dramas. In fact, I have only watched maybe three or four in total. But this one stands out far above the rest, thanks to the raw, honest emotions portrayed on screen. Nothing feels forced or hidden it’s all right there, and it hits hard.
What’s even more impressive is that you can’t pick a favorite character. You will end up loving them all, even the villain at times, because of the way their stories are told.
If you are like me and typically avoid costume dramas, start with this one. I guarantee you will fall in love with it.
And YESSSS—Bai Shuo, Fan Yue, Chong Zhao, and Fu Ling will undoubtedly be among the most loved lead and second-lead characters of 2025… at least so far. Let’s see if anyone else can top them by the end of the year!

GREAT DRAMA - MUST WATCH
If you're a fan of romantic comedy and friendzone dramas, this is a must-watch! It’s a light-hearted show that beautifully captures the bond of friendship within a close-knit group of friends who have known each other since school days. The drama also delves into the dynamics of relationships, showing when to step in, when to hold back, when to offer advice, and how to support each other through all of life’s ups and downs. The romance doesn’t take center stage right away; the first half of the show focuses mainly on friendship. But as the story progresses, the romance gradually unfolds in the second half in a natural, seamless way that feels real and genuine – no forced moments or over-the-top acting.
The ensemble cast is definitely a highlight, with every character, from the lovable grandpa to the adorable Xiao Qi, adding their own charm to the show.
Watch it, enjoy it, and take away the best lessons from this heartfelt drama. If you're interested in more drama reviews, be sure to follow my Instagram page @kcdrama_review!

A Slow Start That Turns Into a Very Enjoyable Story
At the beginning, I found the pacing a little slow, and I was not sure if I would continue watching it. However, after episode 10, the story became much more engaging, and I was really glad that I did not drop it.What I liked most was how the drama slowly built its plot and characters. The story did not feel rushed, and once it found its rhythm, it became very easy to stay invested. The emotions, conflicts, and character development were handled well, which made the drama more enjoyable as it went on.
The storyline was good overall, and I liked how the drama kept me interested without making me feel bored. The music also added nicely to the atmosphere and made some scenes more memorable. There were a few scenes that felt like they were not completely necessary, but they did not take away from the overall experience.
I also have to say that the performances supported the story very well. I was especially surprised by the actress because I had a different opinion of her before, but she did a good job here and changed my mind. Cheng Lei was also impressive, and even though I have not watched many of his dramas before, I thought he suited the story very well.
Overall, It is a drama that starts slowly but becomes worth watching if you give it time. I am glad I continued after the beginning because the story became much more enjoyable and satisfying.

One of the Best Chinese Dramas I Have Watched – A Complete Entertainer
This drama was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The time flew by so quickly while watching it, which honestly says a lot because I never once felt bored or tempted to skip scenes. The actors have done a fantastic job, and every character felt natural and believable. The chemistry between the leads was spot on and added so much charm to the story. The costumes were beautifully done and suited the drama perfectly. On top of that, the fight sequences were excellent - well choreographed, exciting, and never draggy. Usually, action-heavy dramas can sometimes feel repetitive, but this one kept every fight engaging and meaningful.
If I had to comment on one thing that could have been improved slightly, it would probably be the romance portions. I would have loved to see a little more romance between the leads. However, this is not purely a romance drama, so it is honestly a very small criticism and I am only mentioning it because everything else was so well done.
Overall, this was one of the best watches for me. It had the perfect mix of action, emotions, visuals, and strong performances. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a drama that keeps you hooked from beginning to end.

Heartwarming Friendship Drama
A great friendship-centered drama with a cast of lovable characters. The pacing felt a bit slow in the beginning but improved as the story progressed. Ying Lei was my favorite character, and the actors delivered excellent performances throughout. The OST was amazing and really added to the overall experience.Perhaps the drama could have been shortened to around 30 episodes to reduce some of the slower moments, though it’s hard to pinpoint exactly where cuts could have been made. Overall, it was a great drama though a happy ending would have made it even better.

Strong Performances, But Lacking Spark
This drama was just about average overall. At times, the plot suddenly became engaging and pulled me in, but at other moments it felt extremely dull and dragged on. The cast delivered solid performances, everyone is clearly talented and I believe the show earned its 7.9 rating largely because of them (though that still feels a bit generous to me).Personally, I would rate it a 7, mainly for the actors’ efforts. However, I didn’t feel any real chemistry between the leads. The romantic scenes lacked that “butterfly” factor.
As a one-time watch, it’s fine. But as for a rewatch? Definitely not.

A Gripping Historical Drama Driven by Brilliant Performances and Slow-Burn Emotion
This is one of the greatest historical dramas I have watched. Even though the pacing felt a bit slow at times, I never felt like dropping the drama because the cast was excellent and the mystery kept me eager to know what would happen to the villains. There were some characters whose endings I wished had been handled differently, but I understand that the ending shown in the drama was the best possible choice for the story. The romance is very slow, but it progresses in a meaningful way. The male lead doing everything he could to protect the female lead felt romantic on its own, even when they were not clearly romantically involved. I truly loved all the characters, and the casting was absolutely brilliant.
While I would not rewatch the drama as a whole, mainly because it is a historical drama and once you know the story it becomes harder to watch again, and also because romance is not a major theme, it is still a great drama and definitely worth the time investment.

Strong Performances in a Weak Storyline
This drama was fairly average overall, standing out mainly because of the excellent performances by both the lead and supporting actors. The cast carried the film with genuine effort and emotion, which made it watchable despite its flaws. However, the storyline lacked depth and engagement, failing to keep the viewer fully invested. The fight sequences were overly long and repetitive, and the romantic moments felt underdeveloped and unconvincing.
While it doesn’t offer much in terms of plot or freshness, it’s still worth a watch for the main leads, whose performances bring some life to an otherwise forgettable drama.

Amazing drama - Must watch
A Must-Watch for Romantic Drama LoversThis drama truly exceeded my expectations and deserves a spot on every romantic drama fan’s watchlist. I was initially hesitant to start itmainly because I wasn’t a fan of the lead actress due to her role in Way Back Into Love, and I’ve found Johny’s previous dramas, like Love Designer, to become draggy and dull after the 30-episode mark. But I completely misjudged this one.
From the very first episode to the 36th, it was an absolute treat. The pacing was tight, the story stayed engaging, and the chemistry among the cast was spot-on. Every actor delivered an impressive performance.
Special shout-out to Wen Peng—bsolutely loved his role. He was the only character I connected with in The White Olive Tree drama, and he once again proves he has the potential to be one of the best second leads of the coming decade and maybe even a future main lead.
The actors playing the cops also did an outstanding job. Overall, this drama was a pleasant surprise and an emotional, well-executed experience. Highly recommend!

Definitely a one-time watch
While this drama is definitely worth a one-time watch and has its own unique charm, I found it less exciting and engaging compared to other e-sports-themed dramas I have seen, such as Falling Into Your Smile, Gank Your Heart, and Go Go Squid. One possible reason for this could be the order in which I watched them having already seen those more popular and fast-paced dramas first, my expectations were quite high going into this one, and as a result, it felt a bit underwhelming in comparison. The storyline is decent and follows a solid narrative, with characters that are relatable and moments that are heartfelt, but it lacks the emotional highs and the romantic intensity that made the other shows stand out for me. The romance in this drama is more subtle and understated, which some viewers may appreciate, but personally, I prefer a more emotionally charged romantic arc that pulls you in and makes you root for the characters. That said, I do believe the show deserves credit for its well-thought-out plot and the effort put into portraying the e-sports world with some realism. The pacing is steady, and the character development, while not dramatic, is consistent and believable. It’s not a drama that will have you on the edge of your seat or deeply invested in the romantic subplot, but it’s still an enjoyable watch for those who are fans of the genre or are looking for something light and grounded with a touch of e-sports culture. Overall, while it may not be as memorable or gripping as the other titles I have mentioned, it’s still a good drama that’s worth watching at least once especially if you go in with the right expectations. Was this review helpful to you?
IRRITATING FEMALE LEAD
IRRITATING FEMALE LEAD, BUT THE DRAMA IN GENERAL IS A ONE TIME WATCH.- BEST FRIENDS CONCEPT
- GOOD SECOND AND THIRD LEAD COUPLES
- EVEN A GOOD VILLIAN BUT JUST THE HEROINE SPOILS THE ENTIRE DRAMA, BUT THE HEROINE CHARACTER MATURES A BIT AFTER 15TH EPISODE BUT UNTIL THEN YOU WILL DEFINITELY HAVE A DILEMMA IF WE SHOULD DROP THIS DRAMA. I STUCK AROUND AS I LIKED THE OTHER CHARACTERS IN THE DRAMA.
- NOT A DRAMA THAT WILL MAKE YOU JAW DROP WITH THE ROMANTIC SCENES AS IT WILL BE DEFINITELY SPOILED BY THE FEMALE LEAD.
- THIS DRAMA IS A MERE 7 ONLY BECAUSE OF HER .

WORST MAX ACTRESS
- This drama is a wholesome drama if we take out the character Xu Qin (or) Meng Qin. She is overacting, no acting sense, pulling down Song Yan's performance and the entire team's performance.- All the support actors and Yang Yang(Song Yan) did an awesome job and the entire team are a group of stunning professionals.
- This drama is not worth(Just because of Xu Qin or Meng Qin) of a rating of 8.2 because it becomes boring and lagging after some time.
- Love : Doesn't feel like it at all (or) the girl makes it worse.
- Firefighters: Salute to the actors and also real firefighters in the entire world
