If we tried to portray every criminal as mentally ill, no one would ever face a fair trial.
Every criminal?? I'm talking about this specific criminal in this specific drama.

I love it when married couples do crimes together and the wife is slightly more unhinged than the husband, so the husband running around cleaning up her mess. But he doesn't mind at all bc he loves her.
Also her reason to kill the painter bc he's rude to her husband is romantic in a twisted kind of way.
I think the wife is always a bit psychotic, and the husband always knew (maybe he's a bit psychotic too?). So they make a great partner in crime.

Really waste of Bae Nara and Shin Seulki chemistry...everytime they're together, sparks fly!
If only they have more screen time...

where did fl find the drugs in the end ? and her best friend really got away with everything and is the guardian…
Some were left inside the blanket she used to keep them...although I wonder why the police didn't search thoroughly that the drugs were still there..

For Lee Gyeong, his motivation is more to prove to his innocence to his family than just revenge. So, for him,…
Nothing logical when it comes to love.
Lee Gyeong said it himself in Ep 12 during confrontation with his father,
"If I turned everything back and avenge those bastard, I thought you'd believe my innocence. Even when I wanted to die because I was so miserable, I endured everything, wanting to do just that."

Also, if you don't want anyone to reply on your comments with different point of views with yours, maybe write a warning like 'DO NOT REPLY WITH ANY INTERPRETATION DIFFERENT THAN MINE' 🙂
Have a nice day.

It's kinda sad that Eunsoo never noticed that Lee Gyeong painted her...

I bitterly regret having watched till the end. In the first episode I thought the vibes would be black humour…
For Lee Gyeong, his motivation is more to prove to his innocence to his family than just revenge. So, for him, he couldn't really live a good life until his family accept him...

Kim Youngkwang is an exceptional actor!
His role as Lee Gyeong in Walking On Thin Ice solidified his talents in acting.
I really hope people in entertainment industry more appreciative of his abilities. I feel like he's been ignored...idk if his model background made them underestimate him as an actor, when he's proven time and time again that he's very capable...

Remember sooo many bad comments about age gap in so many dramas?? Like ... Beyond the Bar, about 40% of the comments…
I'm with you.
I don't really care about age gap as long as both are adult.
There's affection between them that grew when they worked together. They understand each other, and even their personality click.
Of course the present time of the drama wasn't the right time for them.
Maybe some time in the future...

Title Walking on Thin Ice Spoiler
Rant incoming

I don't understand why they have to make Lee Gyeong going through so much.
Yes, selling drugs was wrong. But, he already paid for his crime by going to jail. He even assisted the prosecutors to catch some drug lord.
Also, his character development is very positive. From a selfish man who only care about his mission to someone who unselfishly helped other people. He literally saved Sua's life, and ready to take all the blame so Eunsoo could be free.
And his revenge was not just a grudge against Hwirim, but mostly rooted from his desire to prove his innocence to his family.
For the lesson of how bad drugs is we already have Taegu who died alone next to the bag of drugs and money he killed so many people for. And Hwirim, who died of overdose in prison.
Why punished Lee Gyeong too?
He's already living in hell for 10 years. Alone. No family. No close friend. Imo, if anyone deserves a redemption, a chance to live happily, Lee Gyeong is the one.
I wish the drama show at least a hint that he chose to live. Maybe just a short clip of him walking down the stairs and out of the building, meaning he didn't jump...
