If KMC is involved in Gaetal, then he recruiting JH maybe to keep an eye on her bc she found out about the "devils who were deemed innocent" phrase. But, it's pretty clear(?) now that KMC is not Gaetal, so it's simply bc of her skills? Unless there's more twist to the story... As for JH meeting KSJ, I think it's because KSJ refused to see KMC (and probably the other cops in KMC team). Since JH herself who wanted to interview the inmates, KMC saw this as the opportunity to talk to KSJ through her and lure him out using the phrase.
I've always thought that Kwon Seok Joo was a bit too timid and obliging during the whole investigation. He did what was told, went anywhere, shared his insights but otherwise stayed quiet in the background. The only time he ever demanded anything was when he asked Joo Hyun to be the only person he's willing to communicate with. And why is that? I think it's because he knew that, besides Kim Mu Chan, she's the brain in this investigation. He already knew how KMC works, but Joo Hyun is something new. He only knew her background but didn't know her method. By keeping her close, he learned a lot about the inner workings of the investigation. Joo Hyun even gladly shared with him her system on data analysis and stuff.
Turns out he did all that on purpose, to observe the investigation from the inside.
I wonder if prison guard Park is also involved in Gaetal... He's the one who mentioned the letters, which lead Kwon Seok Joo to strike the bargain with the police, being the part of the investigation and be able to escape...
My god, the father is a certified asshole who should be slapped with the way he insult and belittle his wife.
It makes my blood boil that every time the father call his wife dumb or doing something that demean her, the drama play some silly background music as if it was something that we should be laughing about. Fyi dear writer/director, abuse is not funny.
They also make her forgive him a little too easy. He should've get on his knees, begging for forgiveness.
AND she got pregnant when she just starting her acting career again. So tired...
I wish she would just divorce him and live her life happily without that abusive jerk.
Now that Kwon Seok Joo is revealed as (one of) Gaetal, I'm scared he's gonna die in the end... I hope not. He suffered enough, at least give him a somewhat happy ending...
