Literally, Everything in this story was fine except for this character. I don't understand how writer mess up this character?
I love how Yifan always put her boundaries around him and never allowed him to cross any lines at all. There wasn't even a moment of hesitation nor any second thoughts but a firm "No" to every and all advances.
I guess she neglected his comments because it really meant nothing for her or her relationship with ML so it was more like a dog bark for her. I remember she even said that his remarks didn't had any kind of effect in her relationship with ML.

Devastation? I don't know buddy but it's one of the good romance drama.

It's worth watching. I personally enjoyed it and it got better and better.

It was really a good story - Dude, Really went all out for a promise to his wife.

Man, This was a good movie. Action, Mystery and now we are stuck with that cliffhanger + unanswered questions.

We can conclude that every individual has different way to process different relations right.
"Can develop" isn't a certainty - To test this if we put hundred opposite gender best friends 70+ would consider each other siblings - around 20 would have one side unrequited feelings and rest few would be hesitant to confess and very few would actually get into relationship.
Anyhow a person should know to handle a rejection be it verbal or behavioural.
If you do anything expecting something then you are 100% wrong - A persons feelings are their own to handle and forget friends even your blood relations has no obligations for your feelings about things. I'm amazed by your way of processing emotions (I don't want to go personal honestly) but you sound like a person who emotionally depend on others and seek validation often.

Or to put more simply - If SML considered her friend or developed feelings for her then he would prioritize her happiness and understand her intentions that she isn't into him. (Both have to contribute in a friendship but giving someone something is your choice and expecting something in return is nor friendship neither love but selfishness.) If I gifted someone a very expensive gift saying we are friends and later I demand something from them saying remember I gifted you so you have obligations (sounds nonsensical, no?).

Let me define how I understand love : Love means that prioritizing other over your own feelings and if you start prioritizing yourself more than them then you wouldn't want yourself to be hurt by anyone and so love for that person ends their. Anything else is obsession (It's positive if other reciprocates your feelings but it's become negative if they don't).
Here only "You" are to blame for everything not the party you love.

Lol, You are so misguided. I have friends whom I help or get help regardless of gender. The basic need of friendship is its genderless and classless. (If it's hard to grasp - I will treat my male of female friends the same way just while maintaining the basic curiosity between opposite gender). If opposite gender develops feelings for me I put a clear line and distance myself from them.
I consider friends like family and so I had multiple instance where female friends asked me if I had feelings for them or expressed that they had but I didn't had any such intentions so I distanced myself from them and so they when feel rejected also distanced themselves from me.
The most I could do them for drawing a clear line not to hurt them or myself. So tell me where am I wrong? Or do you make friends with intentions to court them?

What in the fuvkin fiver dream did I just watch. 😂 It feels like story was written when writer was high on cheep drugs. (Story goes through each couple one by one so it feels like five different seasons) And much of it obviously won't make sense but I don't think it's written to make sense anyways. All couple follows almost identical patterns and it's all about marriages (six different) - All husband behaves the same so does wives.

It's fun watch though for time pass ( I'm amazed it's this high rated but then again it's mostly fluffy so makes sense)
- 7.8 is the best it deserves.

Since, I've finished the story I get your point now but that doesn't take away my earlier criticism of the story. Nonetheless once I got through the first half I started to enjoy it (Mostly after her teacher's death) because that's what separated her a little bit from heavy plot armor and that was her first real setback. Story is flawed but tolerable.
