I know we're all going to hate this concept. If this is the case, won't it mean they won't even film part 2 until it's commissioned? In that case, the artist's schedule might conflict when they pick up other projects?

I do agree with HMH carrying the whole drama due to previous production failures. I don't have much faith in this one because of the past teams, but if they do step up...it will be a miracle.

I saw that post and it kinda looks like his outfit material is linen...hence the more crinkle look while the other ones might be standard cotton/wool...etc. I hope that's the case, otherwise it would absolutely make his team look horrible. I own a few linen pants and it has the same texture. It's usually more expensive as well...most cases anyways so maybe they want to keep the texture looking like the way it is.

We say this every time; hoping that the next one treats him better yet it still happens , sadly.

Why does this keep on happening?! Is this normal for all first billings in China or just to HMH? It seems like for almost all of his series, he gets screwed over when they are near the end of filming. How does anyone respect or trust the directors and producers anymore when they sign on?!

Do we have any more info on this new drama? A modern one would be nice, but it seems he is more intrigued by the stories in the ancient ones for now. So far, every single role that he picks is interesting so I'm excited to meet his new character.
