yeh in the novel they know each other from elementary school till first year of highschool, so like 5-6 years before LZX goes abroad, then they have a long distance friendship for a bit i think😅. And also i dont think people understand how rich he actually is in the novel 😂😂like an actually billionair XD. And yes i meant league of legends😂

If it was according to the novel i think it would be 4 eps elementary 4 eps middle 1-2 highschool the rest would be when lin zhixia is in uni and jiang yubai in highschool till adulthood.

They did 1 year together in highschool and then LinZhiXia would go to university because she is too smart xD and she goes to like cambridge university so like abroad and jiang yubai just finished his highschool they have like a long distance friendship he visits her couple times cuz he has houses in the countries she studies because in the novel he is rich bilionaire. if u want to know specifaclly just read the novel xD. im playing league while typing so this will probably not make any sense.

I have read the novel. There are a lot of changes. Small details like jang yubais parents are divorced he doesnt seem to be super rich like in the novel and some other things that dont come up in my mind right now. I do find that the personalitys of Lin ZhiXia, and Jiang YuBai are quite different. Also there wasnt a 5 year timeskip like in the drama and jang yubai never left unwanted in the novel lin zhixia was just too smart and skipped classes etc... jiang yubai was supportive of that and told her he would catch up or something like that. i read the novel some time ago so i am saying some vague things right now im gonna reread it now while the drama is airing . u can ask me question if u wanna know something ill look for it in the novel but how the drama is going currently its really different from the novel. I strongly recommend to read the novel as i enjoy the original stories more.

there was no love triangle in the novel. I think there will be a love triangle in the drama tho considering how things are going now.

the novel was not an emotional rollercoaster. But the drama is different, they changed quite a lot. so im assuming its gonna be an emotional rollercoaster😂😂

i personally would love to watch drama thats not full of drama😭😂 just gimme a peacefull drama like how the novel was just pace it faster maybe. But for me the novel was perfect.

The fact that his parents are divorced and he doesnt seem to be a bilionaire like in the novel makes me sad😭. Why do they always need to make the drama more dramatic than the novel. Does a peacefull drama not get much viewership or is it to boring for people to watch I for one would love a drama like that tho. But thats just me i guess🤷.
