I definently did not like the ending. It was a total cliffhanger. I'm wondering if there is going to be a season 3 or not.

There's a reason to why they don't have the same actors from the first season. At first I did not like it but then I realized it was part of the story line. Bai Zi Hua was cursed by Qian Gu to never die that is why Mu Tong was created by Bai Zi Hua to be like him. Qian Gu's spirit was separated from her body because her body cannot hold her godly powers that her soul contains, so her body technically is still alive and was not reincarnated with her soul that is why the actress in the modern day world is not actually Qian Gu but Luo Tian.
