I think most people will yearn for the perfect character from the main lead in a drama, but for me a good drama…
I think some viewers rarely see this kind of series . The plot is complex and the heroine and ML are playing multi-layered characters and takes repeating the episodes to get a good grasp 🤔
Yes exactly. That is their cry for help. For ex here, CSS mother hated her unruly character without realizing that she directly contributed to it. All she wants is her love and attention 😢

Beautiful description. I was totally addicted to the novel cos I work in the healthcare field and I see this kind of personalities. As a means of survival, they have to develop special coping skills, those that works for them to prevent further regressions. CSS and LBY have the same broken childhood. As we go deep deeper into their stories in this series, we will encounter many beautiful moments and have better understanding what love can do.
Having read the novel thru google translate was not easy . Watching the 4 episodes made up for my lack of understanding about the family relationships and dynamics and gave me a better understanding why she has become the person she is. Being abandoned, abused, and lacking unconditional love in any stages of life~ but esp children translates to mental health issues. I am so excited to see how ZLS and WL will translate CSS and LBY coping skills. I am expecting the adaptation to become very interesting esp when she meets LBY. Besides the great romance, it is so deep and intelligently written, full of deep love, loyalty, revenge and mystery with blood shed. I trust the director to guide WL and ZLS with their interpretations.

I guess we all have diff tastes. I never regretted investing in a novel and have to read it 2x. To me, I have never read anything as beautiful. and from what I can sense the XHCL team can give this justice.

Unfortunately a lot of ppl does not have clear understanding of mental health issues and to portray it on the screen will be very challenging. I am familiar with the signs working in the healthcare field. So far I love how she and WL are subtle and yet powerful in their character interpretations. And the story is just unfolding cos the best part is yet to come. 🌟 💫 🌟
