this kdrama is the poster child for , not every kdrama needs an historical background. was apprehensive to the silliness of the plot and would not have given it a try if i didn't run out of dramas to watch but it's getting even worse than i expected with them throwing in historical elements into this

my review: 10/10 must watch. ok info for new watchers done now for my inner fan to take over :). It's been a while since I have done something crazy like binge watch a drama from night 10pm to 3am straight. finished this drama in one shot and I just want to give a special thanks to @Maximus i have been skipping this drama from the time it was airing live due to the hate comments here but went for it today. this drama was worth it all the way from entertaining plot to addictive OST.

being the first drama i ever watched 8 years ago, it brought me into the kdrama world and has a soft spot in my rankings. being the only biased 10/10. rewatched it for the 5th time today, it's my pick up drama in a way that it makes me laugh and cry when I dont realise by myself I need a good cry.

Kyung tae and young shim live together in the family house cause Kyung tae ends up bankrupt. This is one of the certified wierdest endings i have seen in kdrama. If you want to watch it you have to go in with no expectations of a storyline.

A good watch , It's been about 4months since i found a drama i managed to finish. Not saying this is a work of God or something amazing just that it feels like a slightly different cliche. It has some great moments and some obvious cringe and for the first time I was split on who to support in a cheating relationship , so I am kind of disappointed on how the writers backtracked on the cheater's character as a person with a reason to a complete loser. i personally watched this show for Yoo In Na but i just couldn't seem to find chemistry. The OST is very addictive so i give this drama a 8.2/10 ( with 8 being the base for any decent drama)

i was a huge fan of Choi Si Won since before revolutionary love and was really looking forward to this drama. putting aside how shitty the plotline to this drama was i honestly felt CSW has an angry face throughout the drama even when he confessed. his iconic smile seems to be dead all i saw was an angry person who was reading lines not acting :(

idk with this drama, started pretty good but it had so many pointless side characters and stories that don't build anything to the main story. If you are a sports genre fan and have watched anime as well, you would know of the "haikyu effect" that's exactly what this drama lacked especially in the last few episodes. Great start , shaky middle and meh ending

ahh such a wasted opportunity, it felt like itaewon class + the devil judge with a mix of fantasy in the start but along the way as they built a solid storyline and laid foundation to a great show they never really delicered. it feels like post ep13 the writers woke up and realised they can't finish this in 16 episodes so they threw everything together to make a quick kimchi stew. recipe for the most wasted potential. A second season as speculated could not really make up for the drop in plot line quality we witnessed. Truly feel sad so much potential wasted :(
