enjoyable

I binge watched from the 1st episode to the 6th. It is hilarious and fun to watch. I love everything about it. I've watched so many serious movies and dramas that this is a breath of fresh air. There was a time when I temporarily stopped watching korean dramas because it's boring. But this one is really fun to watch. I am engrossed in every episode.

Wonderful ending

It is unlike other endings i've watched so far. I appreciate the effort made by the cast and crews to create such an intricate ending. Previously I was worried if it's a sad one. This drama projects nothing but positive vibes. Theirs is a very healthy relationship. Pat and Pran knew their parents aren't going to change their minds so soon about them seeing each other but neither are they willing to break off. Why would they right? Like Pran said to his mother, does he have to be responsible for her feelings? However, neither are they willing to cause them pain and so...everything should be under the radar. Sure enough, in time, their parents started to accept what is. I believe each bl dramas that I have watched has its own attractions and beauty. Bad Buddy Series sure has its own uniqueness. I believe that chemistry between Ohm and Nanon is one reason why Pat and Pran's character came to life. Every facial expression was realistic. And so it was enjoyable to watch.

Episode 8

I like the scene where Sean told White about his dad. The way that White looked and listened to Sean's story made me think that he's already falling for Sean. I love how he touched Sean's earlobe hahahahha. That's so tender. You wouldn't do something like to just any friend now would you.

Interesting

I've finally come to watch Episode 1. The opening song was great. The pictures were serenely heavenly beautiful. I love it. It started the way I like it. I'll definitely watch Episode 2 and see from there. So far so good. The Dragon King though....too skinny.

Episode 10 4/4

Not to be missed! It's the most intense part of Episode 10. I love how Pat's father's action of pushing Pran away when he came between him and Pat led to Pat telling his father that he and Pran are boyfriends. In a way it gives an opportunity to tell them the truth. It also shows how important is Pran to Pat. He wouldn't let anyone hurt Pran, not even his father. And the last 2 minutes and a few seconds, where they hugged, OMG, that was emotional and beautiful as well. Credits to Nanon and Ohm's performance for no one who have been watching this drama all along would have been left dried eyed watching this.

Episode 7

The scene where Liu Qing and Wu talked a bit about their past was touching. The background music was great. It gets better each episode.

Beautiful OST,

So far the OST are very soothing and calming. I dont understand Chinese so the lyrics could be sad but I havent gotten to reading the lyrics yet, just merely listening. And I love the ending, the bird's eye view of the city, the buildings, the highways and the river running across the city.

uncomfortable

I find the story disturbing. Of course it's my personal opinion. I find Hira's personality strange. And when he met Kiyoi I can't help but think that him liking Kiyoi is leaning more towards obsession. I can't explain well. Maybe because there were not many words between them to express their feelings that made my imagination run wild hence I tend to put words into their expressions and actions. And they are more negative words than positive. The scene where Kiyoi pushed Hira is a scene I dislike very much. Letting another person whom you admire, even secretly, treat you like that is already a sign that it wouldn't be a healthy relationship. And it was this scene that made me dropped this drama. I wasn't comfortable watching it.

Up to 48

I always think that the 1st episode would greatly influence whether or not i will continue watching. And with Nirvana in Fire, from Episide 1 i was hooked. The storyline is just too attractive to miss. Up to Episide 48 Jingyan is still intrigued by Linshu - sometimes glimpses of his dear friend and cousin is there but is he?... And i share Jingyan's frustration sometimes. I find myself thinking ohhh when is he going to know it's already Episode 48...they wont have time to reminisce on their childhood ...that kind of thing. Anyway, the real reason it's on-hold is because i dont want it to end. Silly actually. But to me it's not easy to find a good drama. A drama that would enchant you so much you will not realize you've watched Episode 1 and now you're at Episode 48 and almost to the end.

Never thought it'd end that way...

Of course I want a happy ending for all the characters especially one as important as Siuye. When it didn't I was heartbroken for Gao Bingzhu. I wasnt satisfied. However I thought it was one satifying drama. Of course my fav character would be Gao Bingzhu. His determination to avenge his friends' death and later, his quest to protect the people of Buliangjing, his trusworthiness, his dedication to find the truth and carrying out his duty is compelling. It's the very characteristics that make him interesting plus his background as someone from a place like Buliangjing - a place and people shunned from the rest of the so-called better society. It was to my great satisfaction when the story supports the notion that what matters is not where you're from. What matters is your actions. And Gao Bingzhu had shown the right actions each time he's faced with a challenge. It is compelling how he rose from being a criminal to a hero. Huang Xuan's acting is nothing short of brilliant. When Feng threatened Gao Bingzhu in episode 29 using the people of Buliangjing, the look in his eyes changed from respect to I-dare-you look. I simply lovee his acting in this drama. I am glad to have watched such great performance in such a great drama to mark the end of 2021.

Intriguing

Exactly that, intriguing. I really was engrossed in the story so far. I really want to know how WanQing and Liu Qing's story would develop. The build-up to that point where WanQing would finally learn to trust and love Liu Qing is one thing i am looking forward to and is something that would definitely be interesting. The glimpses of Liu Qing's memories if Wan Qing when they were children is heartwarming. So looking forward to the next episode.

Bite me episode 11

I love the overall quality of the scenes from the first to the last episode. I liken it to a shady afternoon mood, breezy and relaxing. But the script on the other hand, needs more depth, more essence i guess. i'm just worried that it might not have reached me especially when Chef Aue said, 'i've been thinking if someone disappears, will he be like a star in the sky?'...this is suppose to intrigue me, make me think, but unfortunately it didnt bring any emotions other than......what? Or maybe i just the understanding of the moment.

So far so good??? Beware of Eui Soo's…

So far so good??? Beware of Eui Soo's charm.... I mean it. Seriously. I would give extra thought to how fast Chef Choi and Chef Yoon's fast growing bond but given that that each episode is only about 12/13 mins I'll take it as is. I like that there's something else to think about and to look forward to other than Chef Choi and Chef Yoon's relationship (even though that's what I'm fixated on...shame on me) and that is what the real deal is between Laura Kim and Chef Choi.
