That fact that both male leads can in a sense, embody the spirit, personality and character of their counterpart and still make you believe that they have actually swapped bodies, is a testament to their acting skills.
Enjoying this much more than I thought I would.

Title To My Shore
I didn't really have a problem with the substance of the episode itself, but dear god where was it shot?? I was…
Like you, I have to admit that I was so focused on what was going on in the background that I didn't really pay attention to our luminanced faced couple. Also like you, I want to know where on earth this episode was shot. So far I've worked out that it's somewhere with a mostly elderly population of people who are quite plumptious in circumference.

You do make a good point though. Maybe I found it hard to engage because of the reactions of the people in the background throwing me off from what was happening between the couple.

From what I understand about the concept of special episodes, they are not meant to be actual substance-filled…
I understand what you're saying and you're absolutely right about special episodes being a gift to that fans, but for me, it also means additional material that expands the story past its main plot.

But isn't that the beauty of differing perceptions? That we can all view the same content and yet still come away with multiple perspectives.

I'm genuinely glad that you got so much from it. And yep, I agree entirely about the kisses.

Best scenes, 1. A crew member trying desperately to stop an impeding couple from walking into shot.
2. A couple looking back to watch two men franctically kissing with all the passion of a dead squid.

I loved the series and squeed with joy when I saw that there was an extra episode. Unfortunately this special didn't quite work for me. It seemed devoid of any real substance and felt like a bit of a wasted opportunity. Still, it was good to see our overly filtered couple back on screen.

Title Double Helix
I said what I said. If you all don’t understand male bodies, I can’t help you. You literally have to bend…
The idea that healthy, strong men cannot be sexually assaulted is a dangerous and pervasive myth. It isn't always about physical strength, size, masculinity or fitness but about control and power over those they prey upon. I deal in trauma and believe me, it is very possible for an able-bodied adult man in good physical condition to be assaulted.

Phew! Well that got dark reeeeeal quick.
This is proving to be far more enjoyable than I anticipated. And while I'm not a fan of montages, the scenes depicting them recording each other possess a natural and captivating cuteness.

"MyDramaList is a space for respectful and thoughtful discussion. Harassment, hate speech, personal attacks, and inappropriate language are not allowed..."

Obviously no one gives a baboon's derriere about the rules because the comment section is a puerile mess of childish insults, immature name calling and juvenile finger pointing. Seriously, I've taught five year olds with better verbal etiquette.
Opinions are like armpits, some may stink more than others but we all have them and we all have the right to exercise them...that's opinions, not armpits.

I had to stop watching after the eliminations were announced because seriously, my eyes rolled back so far in my head out of pure frustration that I could see the inside of my cranium.
This is supposed to be a show about finding love, not a game show, so why the eliminations?

As someone who has a hole where her heart should be but also as a mum to a Queer child, episode 11 took me out. That scene between Huwei and Bomi hurt my soul because my Womb-Fruit's sexuality is not something that needs to be fixed, it's an innate part of him.
In saying that, kudos to Huwei's mum for reiterating that he was still her child no matter what.

Like Covid or diarrhoea, 'Peach Lover' is the gift that keeps on giving. What it's given I'm not exactly sure, but it's definitely not giving cohesive storyline or any sort of plot. Also, I laughed so hard and so loud at the "sexy" scenes that I may have inadvertently caused a seismic shift in the tectonic plates of the Earth's crust. And why, when he's trying to be all sexy and seductive, does Po squirm in his seat and pull a face as though he's trying to push a silent fart?

At least the lipstick is under control in episode 2, although someone has obviously gone on a shopping binge at MAC Cosmetics and overspent on the 'MACximal Pink Sleek Satin Lipstick' range and passed off the surplus amount to the rest of the cast.
Apart from all that, I'm still enjoying this hot mess of a show.

On His Man Season 4 Jan 24, 2026
I feel slightly conflicted. One half of me feels conned by the fact that the first episode was a reshoot and that all but two of the cast members were just acting for an hour. I understand why they did it. With "ToGetHer", It was very noticeable that one of the cast had been edited out, which made for a rather choppy and muddled series so I get why they didn't want to make that same mistake but, I still feel deceived nonetheless.

BUT on the other hand, 7 days is too short a time for some people to make a true and long lasting impression/connection so I'm glad that those who had regrets and those who doubted themselves, get another chance to hopefully achieve the outcome that they sought in the first place.

In the first half of the episode, Po appears to have applied his lipstick/balm to his lips with a trowel...in the dark....whilst wearing boxing gloves. And at their first meeting, Sasom seems to have swallowed a voice changer. Apart from that and having come to this series with little to low expectations, I quite enjoyed this omnishambles of an episode.

Ooh, I did not expect to shed a tear during episode 9.
It's so nice to watch a drama that explores authentic relationship issues. No pretty boy idols plastered in make-up. No oily sheen 6 packs on show, just a focus on genuine storytelling, relatable characters, and believable performances.
This series deserves much more attention.

Warm hug is exactly right. This show brought me such comfort. Flawed characters learning to accept those flaws.…
" Flawed characters learning to accept those flaws." That's a fantastic description, because it perfectly captures each character. And I agree, it is about so much more than romance and that's why it will always own a special place in my heart.

Production? Over produced. Story? Overdramatic. Acting? Overacted. Visuals? Visuals were visualising. Ost? Random. But guess what? I loved every single minute of this lewd, nonsensical hot mess.

The trailer promised more than the film delivered.
Everything about it was on point, the storyline, the visuals, the production, the acting and the music featured, but it still somehow felt rushed and disjointed. The journey from adversaries to the development of mutual feelings, felt like a huge leap and wasn't fully explored. The trouble is, how do you adapt a story that's still ongoing? And how do you bring all that it contains to a satisfying conclusion in just 2 hours and 8 minutes?
In saying all of that, I still enjoyed it, but it definitely felt like their was something missing.

Title Chosen Home
'Chosen Home' is a slice of life drama that feels like a warm hug. This Bl has a gentle quality mixed with a tinge of pathos and humour, but this is not your typical BL. 'Chosen Home' explores themes such as isolation, rejection, uncertainty, feelings of inadequacy, the importance of chosen family, and the struggle of gay couples to be recognized and treated equally to that of heterosexual couples.
It really is a heart-warming piece of joy.

Because I didn't know anything about the film beforehand, I had no expectations of what it would entail, hence I found it enjoyable, in stark contrast to the majority of viewers who did not. It was claustrophobic and suffocating, and it exploited one of my biggest fears, keeping me hooked throughout.

Initially, I expected a simple story about survival in a post-apocalyptic world, but it turned out to be far richer. It concerned the survival of humankind and explored the essence of humanity.
The only negative that I could find is that the Ja In character was as irritating as nails down a chalkboard. Other than that, I bloody loved it.
