Well it's true that Hyen wook would have died either ways and I guess the app loves synchronizing incidents. As we know when the wish has been granted the wish maker will die after 24 hrs. So that timer gave Hyen wook some time to live and then it ends and Nari's wish gets fulfilled. It's kind of mutually inclusive event.
