I dont think the dad's death was intentional murder. SY switched the liquid in the reagent bottle for sake of science in his mind and potentials of a dangerous experiment. SY didnt want to take the high risk chance himself in case the experiment backfired, cause he didnt want to get hurt- so thats why SY "left" the lab to get materials in case there was an explosion. He let HR take the chance instead, without telling him of course. But SY was actually hoping that the experiment would work. I dont even think SY really thought HR would die, hurt yes, but not die

Ep 27- Really enjoying the subtle details around Shen Yi’s cray cray controlling actions like pulling the IV needle out of Shen Ye’s hand so he could take him home from the hospital 🏥 sooner. Even though it was still a full bag and Shen Ye said he could go home when it was finished. 🧸🥛🧸

I feel there is a very low chance of everyone on the police and fire investigative sides making it out alive. Since this is a cdramaland production there has to be one death somewhere 🪦 ... Unfortunately, my gut is telling me Mao Mao will not survive. Anyone else have a different guess? or think no deaths at all???

Agree 💯. I’m used to mystery/investigative dramas in the last couple of years being linear in their plots. How they set it up, is actually how it ends. ( Cough…Cough Face Me- we all guessed the culprit in ep 1) Maybe one slight twist and half a turn if we are lucky. This drama has numerous glorious twists and turns which I’m so happy about. Wonder how this drama is being received in Mainland. Cause the MDL rating here is a travesty!
