The emperor is good. The book of fate was rewritten because the divine clan did not like the power that the emperor accumulated @Micha went into some great lengthy posts about this part and how the FL did not betray him. The brilliance at the end of ep26 when He Xian Wo ascended the stairs is that He Xian Wo was present as a child sacrifice to actually witness the real version of events with the battle of the emperor and the divine clan and the 3000 children. He yelled that the world was "fake" and that Zhao Ming was “not guilty” at the very end of ep26 bc he actually somehow kept his memory intact (maybe HDZ?) of what REALLY happened before the Book of Destiny altered events to frame Zhao Ming. Sooooooo good! Better than the novel! 🫶🫶🫶

Ahhhh... so them being together at the end AND both retaining their memories is the key as to what sets it right then from the point in time where Destiny intervened to rewrite the "fake" world. Thx for the explanation!

Was shocked that they said FL's character was only 18. So the pairing might make more sense?

The Wheel/Time God said the world is "fake", bc of how Destiny got involved and changed things correct??? Or what was your interpretation? I think in the novel they said when Destiny is involved, things that change as a result of him rewriting are lies or fake.

He is the human emperor Zhao Ming first, then after, through a series of events… he becomes the demon god/lord. Ep 21 hasn’t contradicted how it went in the novel. Looks like we will also see that series of events happen in future episodes of the drama as well. 👍

Its still early days in the drama yet, there is a reason why her master passed all her cultivation power to her so there will be an upcoming fight scene between her and MXL where for the first time she holds her own against MXL

There was the big war where she fell into the mortal realm still as the chaos pearl. That was very, very briefly explained in ep 1, but she was severely injured. Zhao Ming found her as the chaos pearl, healed her and was actually the one to turn her into a human. Destiny was actually called to the mortal realm and turned into a human bc Zhao Ming became too powerful so the baddie Devine Race wanted Destiny to erase Zhao Ming from existence. Chaos Pearl and Destiny Book can only be dead, not dead dead. 😂 Same with the other gods on the mortal realm. There is a scene where XXC meets the Time Wheel god and the place is empty cause all of the other gods were more interested in being in the mortal realm. That's also why when Destiny dies he has the 10,000 year waiting period before he will become human again. Remember hes waiting for his old old friend. And why MXL has the creative loophole of not waiting 10000 years to become human again when she dies is bc XXC goes back into the past into this same time line to save her as the young servant. So they now can be together in this same time line. Well, those are my thought at least 🤷🏻‍♀️
