I haven't watched the Chinese version but I am reading the Novel and wow so different I have to say I love the novel more than SHR. I love her interaction with the 13th prince. Her short lived friendship with 10th prince. They made him marry the 8th prince sister too fast for my taste well it felt like that in the novel. In the Novel she has more interaction with the 10th, 13th and 14th prince at least until what I read that is Chapter 8. Her interaction with 8th prince is just a few conversations and it was in front of her sister. Like two alone. Like I said at least in what I have read. Her interaction with the 4th prince is none existent at least until what I have read. The 8th prince is a douche to her at least until the 8th chapter. He sent his guards to hit her and he strangle her.

but why do you keep guessing my feelings and thoughts when did I say I prefer any Prince or dislike any of them? You went and told me Is Not about Romance when I didn't even said that. I just asked if they were going to follow the Chinese version. You went and said so many things in your comment like I was saying more in mine. When the other person ask about political or Romance I answered both. Please go back and read the comments. First of all I love Wook more than 4th prince. I haven't watched the Chinese version and just started to read the novel. Even do is only until Chapter eight I am looking where to read the rest in English. After reading the novel I see that everything is so different. And Even after you explain everything in the previous comments it goes back to Love which is linked to romance. Wook turns "evil" because of jealousy not about So wanting to be king but because of Soo. I love her relationship with all the princes even do she shares more moments with the 4th and 8th prince at least on SHR. I understand all her movements and decisions affects History. And before reading the Novel how could I think differently when I had only watch SHR when even you and the other replier is saying is more based on the Love triangle than her relationships with the princes. Please go back and read my comments and read yours I never said I like or disliked I simply asked a question and answered the other persons question.

You may think is not about the Romance or don't want it to be. But if the writer of the Novel or Dramas wouldn't want it to be based on Romance why give the girl so many freaking man to like or them liking her. She or He should of written about a bad ass warrior. Something like Mulan Where the romance was secondary. In this drama the romance is so in your face where in every corner she bumps into the 8th prince or 4th.
I am reading the Novel will let you know if my opinion changes after reading the Novel.

let me say that Jdramas are good but Kdramas are better but J Movies are way better than other Asian movies I have watched they will surely get you in the emotional department . If your interested on watching Try watching this one The Liar and his lover is in Kissasian most of the J movies I have watch are available there. You can also check my list.

I watch other Asian dramas too Korean, Taiwanese, Thai and Chinese but Japanese hold a special place in my list.

I don't why I have the feeling the guy they are using for the drama is the guy who says Voice on top in the cast. He has a lot of things in common with Matsubara.

One of the best Korean movies I have watched. I usually turn my attention to another movies with this type of genre on American movies I can't stand them but this movie was on point. I just loved it. It was my second Korean movie I watched, the first one was Werewolf Boy.

I just got traumatized as the guy doing the voice is a 42 year old man, I don't know if is him doing the acting or just the voice over. He can do the acting as his face is covered and just show a glimpsed of another teen male actor when they uncovered his face. Why am I just finding out about this hahhaa. Can they do that I mean used the actor who is doing the voice as he has his face covered? Or are they using another teen actor?
I just goggled the voice over actor and well he does have the same type of chin and really long neck. Coincidence? There's a picture of where Matsubara is trying to touch Yuiko's face in the rooftop and his hands are not of those of a teen. Maybe I am seeing things as I know that the voice over actor is a older guy. I mean they can surely use him and say they didn't it. Why pay double? No? pay for him to do the voice and another actor?

This is a cute teen drama with that said is slow but super cute.

Sungjae dropped Moonlight I hope he doesn't drop this one!! I love him and his acting so of course I will watch this..
