(People already getting pissy hahhaa) With Go Ahead boasting a 9 rating and numerous awards, its adaptation comes with naturally high expectations. Like one of my pet peeves is when lakorns fail to accurately adapt kdramas. If the changes are drastic, it would be better to rename the adaptation, instead of relying on the original's reputation for viewership.

This is going to be 16 episodes compared to 40, the original had a few episode of them being kids which to me were the most adorable part in the Cdrama, teen scenes then adult. Is like how most of us say the book was better in a movie adaptation! How will they fit how deep some things were in a drama of 40 to a 16 episodes.
I know and almost predicted the scenes they will do, the koala hug, the period scene, when he hits her in the head and she says don’t hit me I will be stupid who will marry me you? And he says yes, when he cries when he talks about his trauma. Maybe the bed scene when he is having nightmares. The goodbye scene, the fist fight.
But will they have the luggage scene? When she says can I keep him? Will they have the scene where the aunt went over and the dad had a breakdown? The new boyfriend.

But also can predict that won’t matter if it was well develop or adapted because people will rate it high just for In Youp.

Go ahead is on my the top ten favorites Asian dramas, so I prefer to not expect greatness and be surprised than disappointed because had high expectations.

All that but what about romanticizing and keeping those virginal lips for red flags male leads! Which are 90 percent of male leads in dramas. They don’t even deserve all the glorying you did to persevere the romance you are describing. Also we see more male leads having such kissing scenes with exes or crazy SFL mostly by with gusto, accident or forced but oh no FL’s can’t? Well you can still appreciate all that, I’m not talking about swapping partners every other episodes I’m talking we don’t see any physical connection with Marriages or long time couples just because they want to preserve the FL lips virginal for the ML but is all in illusion because we know dang well they must of kissed or done way more in 5 years. One guy is dating Zhou Yu Tong character he cheat purposely With the FL, thinking the FL is rich. He wants to be rich by dating rich girl because his excuse is his background.

FL had a boyfriend but he was far and didn’t pay attention to her, so she breaks up with him and gets with ZYT boyfriend not knowing he was still with ZYT character. He didn’t tell her he had a GF and someone from work does and she stops talking to him until he looks for her again and lies he broke up with his GF, lies lies.

The FL doesn’t tell the ex who comes back she has a new boyfriend right away but she does eventually. The new boyfriend leaves her for the girl who he thought was the heir (thinking it’s was the FL).


ZYT character kind of gets with the FL ex but they weren’t together anymore.

I don’t consider cheating when they said let’s break up or on a break.

I mean nothing can change about it on China or how it’s presented over there, but this site is unofficial. Why should it matter, the facts are there, she is a main role who has a lot to do with the main plot she is super important. She is on all the episodes. This is my first drama I watch of hers, I’m not a fan but is not fair. She is not even as a supporting role she is added here as a guest role!

One thing I will say that I’m glad Asian dramas are little by little opening up to idea that yes the FL lead can accidentally or not can kiss someone else that is not the ML, just happened in DNA Lover with a accident kiss with the SML. Now I saw in a clip that in this drama she kisses the SML. Even if it’s just a flash back, imagination or if it’s a shared peck with at that time BF or husband. Let me explain the last part, example I seen many dramas where it’s starts with the FL dating or being married with a character that is not the lead. We rarely see this couples shared any physical contact and they been dating for years or married. Me and my sister in law were watching As Beautiful as You a Cdrama and the lead girl has been dating a character for years, my sister in law asked me no almost matter of factly said she was a virgin the FL not her hahaha I’m like wait why do you think that? They been together for years, engaged! Even do yes is possible to be together with someone and not have sex but years? In This era? They spend nights together in the same bed. But I’m pretty sure she thought that because of how they portrayed their relationship of no physical contact or even pecks. Let’s brush off the Dating but married couples? And no not all married had problems at the beginning in all Asian dramas, to use that as an excuse. But Not even on flash backs?
Okay all that to say congrats to the producers or writers for changing the game on that subject.

Literally this is three main couples, the life of three female characters. I tried editing that on the cast let’s see if they approve.
