All these rant about xs,made me love the character more as i am a great admirer of flawed characters,not a fairyland…
In what universe Xu Si's character is flawed? Are we watching the same show? His character is everything except flawed. He clearly knows what he's doing and all his actions are well calculated. It's ok, you love the actor, we all do. But don't mix the things. Only fairytale here would be if JH and XS got a HE.
should I start to watch this drama? is this good? (I usually only watch the drama that rated more than 8)
I don't know what kind of shows you like, but if you're not sure yet, wait until Sunday. You'll have spoilers. I, personally, didn't like the beginning. Now , I really hope this show won't have HE , at least not the romantic part of the show.
Short version - you got nothing after bankruptcy. You beg, humiliate yourself, eventually you succeeded to stay on your 2 feet. You even sell your majority shares, for the opportunity. Now someone else has the ultimate voice in every decision. But with time you feel like you can trust that person. You give all of yourself to bring a little glory to the brend. You succeeded. But.. there's always that but....that one person with 51% , the majority shareholder decides to sell them, without even telling you. Working ethics failed. That person is not just your work partner, it's your intimate partner as well.
And everyone around you know what he will do , but he still keep it quiet when all he needed to do is to talk with you!
Did she overreacted by slapping him on the stage? No. Everything she has done for the company now goes to some other company. Does she has any authority after? No! Is this all just money for her? No!
Not to mention, this wasn't Xu Si's first betrayal! He did make a phone call and publicly announced that the investor escaped and JH's father company is going down!
What a beautiful romantic man !
Who stabbed JH? Everyone ! Everyone she trusted the most! Boyfriend, Uncle , that old lady accountant, her ex bff that she gave 1000 chances! And she fought for all of them!
The only ppl with moral ground in the show are Yang Jian and Gao Yi.
Should JH and XS have a HE? No! XS f*cked up 2 times. First time was pure business, 2nd time was personal. Would you trust someone who left you in the dark? Life goes on! There are always new opportunities for business and for love!
As for XZY and Yang Jian - I really hope they won't stay together. He is too good for her and she doesn't even deserves an opportunity with him!
Show is a roller coaster, but has a strong life lesson!
The previews of ep 35 and 36 are looking bad but guys there is still hope, JH emotionally wrecked the entire management…
I liked what you wrote. I just finished ep 33. I don't know in what universe ppl are living, who think JH and XS should be together. There is no green flag in any ship .
I don't care who dies in the show, as long animals are alive. If they show Boss dying, I would hate this show to the core.
And now about main couple... Yeah,Xu Si is investor and he did help Jiang Hu's company. But they were not even friends back then. That was clean and pure investment for him. But now...I just can't look him with the same eyes. He knew how JH would respond and he just dragged and act in private instead talk to her. It's not like she even had a choice in that transaction, as she only has 49% shares. He is still majority owner. No matter how much he said 'i love you ' , I wouldn't even look at him.
As for the 2nd couple..XZY is selfish, she acts like she cares about ppl around her yet she plays with them . She used Yang Jian like he's her go to puppy. And he is indeed a good boy to his 'owner' and loves her more than himself. Where he lost his self-respect? Didn't like her from the start. It's a shame they got together. YJ deserves someone who can truly sees him and love him as he is.
As for Gao Yi...l've to admit, I admire his character. From the beginning until now he stayed away from the mess and stayed faithful to his loved ones (gf/wife and father). We're not yet sure what happened back then and who's guilty . But GI did get justice for his father. Did he indirectly killed JH's father, yes he did. And he's gonna live with it. Was that his intention? No, he just wanted revenge for his broken life and the company was his weapon.
As for friendship between JH and XZY , it's cristal clear who was and is the bad guy in this friendship. I would just say... remember the moment XYZ throw an ultimatum...she wanted to resign if JH collaborate with an old friend of her father. She didn't care why JH refused multiple times to collaborate with GI .. Just bc some old fart breath on her neck ones. And XZY wouldn't even have direct contact with that old guy,as he's only for offline selling chanel. But what about JH? She could swallow her pride and anger..and work with the guy who destroyed her life, get her money, business, and father?! No, XZY is just disgusting as her mother.
Sorry, I had to write it here. At first I didn't like the show, bc FL was begging everyone and humiliated herself way too much. But after those episodes, the show was quite good. But for me , not even one ship has a green flag.

I love Bai Lu , but this character is not for her. Acting stupid, immature and running away every 2 minutes are complete disaster. And to be honest Dylan is still young for this role. Feels like watching high school kids ...even they know how to communicate . Script is really bad. I won't drop it, bc I love them both, but i expected way more from the show. They wasted great potential of 2 good actors on repetitive non-sense.

I didn't know they were from the same company (not following him that close). But it's quite normal to match already famous actor with the one who needs more public support. I haven't finished their 3rd show together( even tho he has just some support role). But the boy already has several dramas where he's the ML. So , I think there's space for them to collaborate.. They are really something together. And they need to explore that chemistry.
