my thoughts exactly! glad i'm not the only one here. Bi Ruoshan herself is a mess... i like the actress Jiang Peiyao much more when she portrayed Luo Nian from Nothing but You. she was way prettier with her natural make-up as Luo Nian. among the three females from this drama, i ended up loving Qin Shiyue's personality much more.
i tried to move on from Li Yunrui's Blossom, but ended up searching for his other drama so here i am :)
i love all the acting of these 8 actors so so much, especially the way they show small & almost unnoticeable gestures throughout the drama. like how Shen Xingruo occasionally sneaks a glance at Lu Xingyan when the reality show requires her to interact with Yu Si. and how Xu Chengzhou with no hesitation uses his palm as a pillow for Chen Zhu during tumble-dry game ❤️
i also agree with one of the viewers here who compliments Duan Yu's acting as the shy girl Shi Qin. her awkwardness, how she avoids staring at people's eyes when having conversation, the way she faces her ex husband bravely yet we viewers can totally feel how she forces herself to talk back to him. Duan Yu nails it! i'm so excited to watch more of her projects.
He Siyue - gosh i remember Xia Haoran as the spoilt brat Jiang Jiaojiao from Nothing but You. his role here is just the complete opposite of Jiang Jiaojiao. he impresses me too, cos he captures the introvert He Siyue perfectly!
the best part is they use their own voice instead of voice actors, woohoo!
it's my first time watching both main leads' drama. story wise is rather boring, despite the 24ep, 15mins duration. but they're pretty good at building up chemistry. keen to watch their next projects. some of the OSTs are quite touching too.
love your acting in Blossom and one of the OSTs you sang with Meng Ziyi. you have a rare beautiful voice, please don't let voice actors dub you. excited for your future projects!

it's just a big shame that they used voice actors to dub them. i'd at least prefer Li Yunrui and Meng Ziyi to do their own dubbing. original voice is always the best.
then i'm confident that the OST they sang together, 昭昭墨墨, would've hit us viewers right on the spot, since it would've been their own voice accompanying us throughout the 38 episodes. they're one of those rare Chinese actors/actresses who can act and sing, their voice is so beautiful singing the OST.

Not trying to defend him, I agree with you that he should give up already - heck, at the very least he should've done it when they got married, instead of still pitying himself with the news of her expecting a baby.
I can sort of relate to him in a way though. I believe if our own love story is made into a drama that is watched by a number of people, there'll be some who would come to us & say, "Hey I actually like it more if you ended up with B," or "You had more chemistry with C, I was so convinced that he's your Mr Right - why did you end up marrying A?"
I imagine that's part of the message that the director/screenwriter was trying to convey - that we're all the main lead in our own story, even if others think we're just a random, insignificant supporting cast in others' life. They avoid discrediting the SML's feeling towards FL - they just didn't give him the more decent closure we expect, like finding a new love for example. Or maybe discovering that his career worths more of his time, now that the FL has fully belonged to someone else.
On a lighter note - I have a feeling that his obsession started with how his best friends persuaded him into thinking that he's the ML and Zhou Linlin is his (emphasise on 'his') FL. That's probably why he finds it super hard to give up? Just my random guess, only the director/screenwriter knows the real answer 😂
really wanted to watch this drama, especially bcos of Garvey Jin (i think he's an underrated actor). but ended up dropping it cos the actors are dubbed.
Love the tension and small twists in this drama, but I nearly gave up watching at ep24. From there onwards, it somehow became a cheap & cringy melodrama. The only thing keeping me is wanting to see the end of the 'final boss'. And speaking of the 'final boss', they've sort of revealed it pretty early, so not that hard to guess. It's my first time watching Cheng Xiao's drama. I love her visual, but acting-wise I feel her expression is rather flat. Def not as flat as Kristen Stewart though! I'm so keen on watching her future dramas. And Ji Xiaobing, whoa! His first drama that I watched was Be with You, where I found him to have even less expression than Cheng Xiao (yes this one leans more towards Kristen Stewart lol). But here, his acting blew my mind!
On another note - the first time i saw Shi Chuchu I immediately feel that Tian Yitong would've been perfect as Fan Yunyi in Forget You Remember Love. I've been watching the original Taiwanese drama many times since it first aired ages ago, and I reckon Tian Yitong has the original Fan Yunxi (Joyce Chao)'s vibe. just my two cents ☺️
