I absolutely loved her and her character in blossoms of adversity. I didn't realize it was the same actress in Love in the Clouds. She is a good actress; She is quite believable in her roles. I am so sad that she is being attacked. What is the matter with these fans in the Chinese entertainment industry? Gossipers are doing evil. It is so hard to ignore them.

The best description of the ending is that it was abrupt. I am more annoyed than viewers complained about their relationship building after they got married. I thought that part was lovely. Personally, I think too many Chinese dramas have totally weird endings because the writers run out of ideas or money or the book ends right there, or a different Script team takes over, or the editor really messes up.

Oh yes, it was a lovely production. When I first started watching it several years ago, I could only get it on Youtube and the music kept getting cut. The music is absolutely awesome. The plot is so intriguing. I still haven't finished watching it but I finally got a subscription on VIKI SO I'm going to have to start all over again.

I saw there was some criticism from the PLA that ZLH was not manly enough to be a general in POJ. However, if anybody watched it and saw how he viciously attacked that butcher who had tried to kidnap the FL, they wouldn't say that. He was scary!

That would never make a good story! We learn from our mistakes. The first rule in storytelling is throwing the worst possible scenarios at your protagonist to test his character and make the story interesting. And in real life sometimes we don't know how to communicate because we don't understand our feelings or even a situation. In this story the Princess is Not in it for power but actually to save her family; that is her brother. She has to have the power to keep from getting killed.

I absolutely loved this drama. I have watched it more than several times because it is such a happy experience! The costumes and sets are beautiful, the story is delightful and the actors are excellent! Why is it's rating so low it deserves a 10!?

It sometimes takes a while in dramas to figure out who's the bad guy and who's the good guy! I especially appreciate your comment about who you want to kill!

Yes, there is a of history as well a lot of names to keep track of. As I have mentioned, It is kind of like Tolstoy's War and Peace. To watch it carefully and may have to go back and forth a few times to make sense of it for me. Thanks for the good review.

I just started watching. It is fascinating! Kind of like War and Peace by Tolstoy. Lots of people, lots of names with courtesy names etcetera to keep straight! I am going to take my time and savor it.

Mr. Yang Ting Dong Really shines in The Imperial Coroner SS1&2 . He also plays a scholar in The Glory - and it took about 10 minutes for me to recognize him. He was playing a very subdued character.

Likely the problem is that we are overdosing on HMH! I will wait a while to watch GLORY. I have found that when some of my favorite actors appear 2 dramas within weeks of each other and entirely different characters I get confused! LOL! love to HMH!
