I just noticed that SJ’s belt/belly chain says NASTY. What a perfect accessory for her!

I just scanned thru the first ones when I was rewatching some last night. It’s been so long that I didn’t really realize how long HR has been hot after KS. It’s been almost from the first few episodes but she was subtle about it then.

Oh when that hits the fan it’s going to be glorious! 😂

What you said makes sense of how it happened. I thought when he first was introduced they said he killed someone in a fight but that may have been said around the gossip table at MILs house and someone just assumed it and made it fact for gossips sake. But when KS talks of it it’s like he was doing something with the gang he had been apart of as a youth to make quick money. But he ended up in a fight where he was really hurt and was in a coma. No mentions of killing someone but maybe he was supposed to take part in a hit against another gang to steal their money and turf and the other gang found out before it could happen and there was a big rumble (Jets vs Sharks in West Side Story like) and everyone was hurt so maybe only charges were things that happened during the fight. I think I’d be a good one to sit around the gossip table with the others and make imagined stories truth. 😂

I have my popcorn ready to be popped to eat while I watch that explosion! 😂

I thought he and the chairman talked about how long he had worked for him when he came so the chairman could ask him to spy on the Dong’s for him.

I’m confused as to how long DH was in prison and how long he’s been out. I think he told KS that he got into that fight was in a coma for days and then went to jail. But then when KS was talking to MR about her dad she said something like he should have come asked me before he put me up for adoption and abandoned me. I think back and I thought it was said he went and made arrangements to allow MR to be adopted with the sister but if he woke up from a coma and went directly to jail unless he called the sister and she came to see him in the jail was he out on bail awaiting trial? I think I’m going to have to go back and watch that whole volunteering at the children’s home episodes again and listen again to what he says to the sister. Sorry, these are just my thoughts in written form and so they are probably as confusing to you as they are to me. ☺️

I asked one time if Director Choi’s job at HDF was just to go around and irritate the living pi** out of all the other employees because you never see him sitting at a desk working.

Yes. I absolutely think HR will still be obnoxious toward MR and still try to reel in KS because she is not going to go out peacefully unless she reacts a lot differently than I think she will

Oh my word, I have been watching some of the first episodes again and it dawned on me last night that imho, MIL’s feelings toward KS are more like she is married to him than feelings she would have for him as a son in law. That’s part of the reason she treats SS so much better than KS when KS is the one deserving of being treated like a king. Most mothers treat their sons and sons in law better than they treat their husband or at least a lot do. Then we also have to remember that they have lived together, neither of them having spouses with them, for 10 years. In some states in America that could be construed as a common law marriage. No they didn’t sleep together but KS has literally supported that household just like a husband and father would.

MIL thinks KS feels the same way and that is why she has no doubt he will never move on with his life with another woman. Again this is just my humble opinion but those are my observations as I look back and they are probably all like my other opinions and predictions 100% wrong. 😂

I agree on the changing way too fast. Because he did, I just feel like he’s like a tiger in hiding waiting to jump back in the fight to get his cub back. I hope I’m wrong but I think her brother wants her back with JH even tho he knows he wasn’t good to MR the first time.

I really want to see JH have to work to snag YJ. He’s the type of man that has had women flock to him all his dating life so he needs to put some time and effort in on this one. He didn’t with MR until it was way too late in the game and she knew all his secrets by then.

I know YJ thinks he is cute and flirts with him like crazy but I also know she wants a job at HDF and SS refuses to help her get in so maybe she is trying to work her juju so this cute guy puts in a good word for her to get a job there. But maybe I’m just that devious and evil minded and she actually just likes his look and he’s fun to flirt with.

With the help of DH, his sister has a thriving business that before DH she was afraid she was going to have to close. And what did DH’s relationship with MR have to do with any of it? He’s not MR’s guardian and even if he was she is a grown woman, like his sister, and they both can make their own grown up decisions. But I truly loved, loved, loved when the big d told DH that the chairman wouldn’t approve of him and neither would he and not long after the chairman walks in and says come to my house to visit MR comfortably from now on. I wanted to fall out of my chair laughing. I will be glad when the big d realizes he’s lost the chairman ageeing with him about everything. I want to see that stupid face with his mouth hanging open when he realizes he’s no longer the chairman’s confidante.

Oh my word, how embarrassed can you make yourself feel when you sober up! She deserves everything her little tirade causes to happen by losing a long time friendship and/or losing an employee. She was ridiculous but the sad thing was it wasn’t anything that she hadn’t already said to KS but he chose to ignore it and not hurt her feelings until now when she involved his love. I was shocked when he actually raised his voice to HR and told her basically if she didn’t shut up about MR he wouldn’t let her get by with it.

I’m still waiting!
