I CANNOT BELIEVE TWO OF MY FAVORITE WORLDS COLLIDED! I got into BL's with anime's and Dakaichi was one of my first ever introductions to the BL world and I probably rewatched it like 14 times after that. I love this pairing as well, I hope they play the characters well because they're gonna be kinda hard to pull off, especially Junta. I'm so excited!!!
Dude, I'm going to like the 18th episode and this series has been a rollercoaster of emotions. Betrayal, love, sadness, cowardness, happiness, greed, self centeredness, malace, all into one emotion kinda rollercoaster. BRO I'M SO MAD! HOW COULD Y'ALL KILL BAEKHYUN AND HIS WIFE, BRO LIKE WHY?!!! I started crying that scene, it was giving Romeo and Juliet and wow, that was just emotional. Wook is making me so mad dude, and the Queen, she's outta the way now so idrc about her anymore.
BUT I CAN'T BELIEVE THE BEST CHARACTERS HAVE LEFT US! Like first Wook's dead wife, then the court lady, THEN PRINCE EUN/BAEKHYUN AND SOON DEOK?!
I'm curious to see this progress, a lot of betrayal and evil I'm sensing in these upcoming episodes, which i'll continue tomorrow :')
I'm more than halfway through the first episode and OMG. WHY IS THIS SERIES FULL OF HOT MEN?!!!
Baekhyun was not acting in this. Directors probably said "act authentic" throughout the whole episode and he did just that.
I also loved the bromance between Baek-Ah (I think that's his name in the series). Jeong, and Eun(Baekhyun), it was so freaking cute to watch.
IU's acting is pretty impressive for this being here rookie acting days. She's definitely gotten a lot better though I mostly know her for her musical career, same with Baekhyun. I'll be happy to see as this devlops, bro and the "you're big in other areas" caught me off guard and had me cackling, then Baekhyun's laugh, I can't, lmao.
I'll be watching this for Baekhyun, lol. I also have seen many clips of this, they're either sad or funny so I have high hopes, but the comments of disappointment are here too :')
I'm surprised by the disappointed commentary on this series, I personally think it's loveable and good. It's not the best of this year but I don' think it deserves the hate it IS getting. However I will agree the plot and writing lacks something, I just can't place my finger on what that is. The two leads are super cute, their chemistry isn't overflowing or anything, just everytime I see them they're cute and so comfortable with each other. Ohm seems to be a pretty good actor based off what I've seen and Leng is really good too.
I'm only only on episode 4, so make as it progresses it'll probably showcase why there's the "expectations" and how it let the audience down but so far it's good. The episodes feel way too rushed though, I feel they only last like 10 minutes. Lmao.
4 minutes power never existed in the first place.Episodes 1-5 was all just in Great's mind who is in a comatose…
Oh my gosh, that makes so much sense now!😠I feel like rewatching it now after reading all of this. I think it's such a good series now that many people can learn from, especially those greedy and selfish folks. I am very grateful, thanks for the whole synopsis and clarification. So the distorted images he kept seeing in the supposed "dream" were reality? Like for example, the coffee cup?
I'm nearing the end of episode 8, and I'm....confused. Episodes 1-5 were pretty cool, I thought I knew what was going on and I was loving the series. From the production, to the actors and their CHEMISTRY BROOOOO- but then episode 6 came. Suddenly the whole story switched up. It's as if the "4 minutes" thing stopped existing and it went back to the beginning of all episodes without Great getting those 4 minutes to change the future. Then episode 7 continued on that story from the other characters' pov and I was trying to enjoy it but was so confused. THEN the beginning of episode 8, it was so sweet by the way, switched up ONCE MORE but it definitely clarified what I was confused on episode 6 about. And right now I'm still confused but I'm happy for Great and Tyme!
I'll give my overall review now since I'm about to finish the series. I give it an 8/10, maybe 8.5 because of how much I loved Tyme, bro's FIIIIIIIIIIINNEEEEEE asf I was also in love with Den, he's such a loveable character. I do hope to see the male leads in another series, their chemistry on screen is freaking amazing, and seeing Bible play such a character that differs from KinnPorsche is WoOOOoow. I mean there were definitely aspects from his previous role in KinnPorsche in this series, but he definitely improved since.
If you guys can clear up my confusions that'd be great!
I'm on episode 3 and I don't like this. Episode 1 and 2 felt like there was no progress at all. I felt like I was forcing myself to watch this. It's a pretty high rating for such a boring series, I'm guessing because popular Thai BL actors have cameos and little scenes, but the main leads on this lack chemistry and one of them is just annoying. Everything about him annoys me. The plot is not engaging, and like I said, it's just boring.
Not as bad as series like "Dinosaur Love", I think it's a good starter BL series for beginners. I'll skip to the last episode and if I see anything new or interesting I might continue watching it.
I shall start watching this next weekend as I just finished Century of Love. I hope it's worth it because Century of Love was amazing, one of the best of its time.
I just finished the series and this is definitely top 10 of my favorite series ever! It's not a perfect 10/10 but I can't give it a 9.99999/10 on here so 10/10 for me! I hope people don't judge it based of the title or anything and assume it's boring because of the historical context, it's truly amazing and beautiful.
I've just finished episode 6 and I am really enervated but happy I gave this series a chance. I never thought any future series would compete with IFYLITA but this is very close, I love it. The Three Musketeers (a.k.a. Ju/Chu, Chong, and Rat) are probably my favorite characters. They're so lovable and are amazing support characters. Tao as well, I loved his whole character since episode 1.
I had a feeling that Vee/Wee's grandmother was somewhat connected to San's past but I actually thought she'd end up being the "Wat/Wad" San was looking for. I'm really curious to see how this story will unfold and develop especially with the return of Wat/Wad.
(btw, is it just me or does Wat/Wad look like IU?)
