First things first, I'm a complete fool for CW and you guys should know I've been dying to watch this drama. Now,…
You're right, I was ahead of myself saying that. Now that you mention it, he does give the impression he's being chased in Spain but since nothing happened in Korea, I let that pass right through me.
It's very hard for me to ignore the low quality in the scenes because I'm very very very picky when it comes to action. I'm aware it's hard, exhaustive to the all the actors and the choreo is very tricky but since I like it too much, I can't be pleased easily but that's me, I'm aware my levels of demand are way too high not only for this show but for any entertainment product in a world wide range. And yes, the scenes do lack the effect edition usually gives them. The angles are interesting but not really helpful to the final result, alas.
I don't think it will, the story has amazing potential and the acting is amazing! I believe we're safe to enjoy this alright. ^-^

I'm sorry if I sounded harsh, hun. I really didn't mean to.
I'm not comparing or anything. The only thing bothering me is the low quality in action scenes only as I expected more but, as I said, I will lower my expectations if low budget is the cause behind this so I can be fair.
I'll keep watching as well, ofc. I have nothing against the show, so far and JCW is my dream guy. n_n
I'm sorry again if I offended you, I really am. I didn't mean to sound that crispy.
I didn't like episode 1 that much but i liked episode 2 it is so much better. And i liked yoona acting she really…
I could pass the romance. Changwook and Yoona? I don't buy it. If they don't develop a killer chemistry throughout the drama it'll be painful to watch. I'm only curious about the political plot and possible inhancements in the quality of action scenes.

Actually I haven't watched those. I haven't watched american movies in years and there you have a reason. Can't even argue since I don't know what you're talking about.
I roll my eyes at everything that seems excessive in dramas, movies, shows, news, songs - a n y t h i n g ; so you can say I view everything with the "same lenses" alright. Did you just imply I'm being judgemental of K-dramas?
And that's a weird thing to say: You don't think it's weird because America made a standard out of it? That's really odd. I make my own standards, don't you? Be it for American, European, Asian or Alien stuff, they're the same.
And yes, he MAY be exercising (which isn't a given except the assumptions we can take from his gorgeous body) but not training? Exercise may keep you strong but time makes one rusty and agents need ability a lot more than strength. I'm not saying that was super absurd or anything, it's how easy it felt for him that's weird. Some hardship would be appreciated for realistic purposes.

Which reminds me I have yet to watch Cruel City. Bad Guys have it's moments as well. It's not loaded but the scenes are good and realistic.
It's so refreshing seeing I'm not alone because most people seem beyond satisfied with the action and I'm left wondering if I'm the one with a sight problem... '-'
My fave action movie is still District B13 (French) because damn son... that's what I call action. Parkour is the best thing and everything seems so damn real all the time. I was just there with stars in my eyes through the whole thing.
Hey guys, is the action really good like Healer and Bridal Mask, does Ji Chang Wook kills like a lot of bad guys…
I prefer the action in Healer. It seemed a lot more realistic there. Everyone's saying the action is a killer but I disagree. Then again I'm so damn picky about my action so you should see for yourself. XD

Perhaps it's just the whole "superpowerful" agent thing going on that's ticking me off. I mean, c'mon. If he's been off duty for so long he would be out of shape for sure and yet there he stands against an entire top (and armed) team and does his deal without a sweat and many sexy close-ups. lol Is he Jake Wesker or what.
Healer was way more "realistic" and it's pretty damn hard not to compare both although I try. Even City Hunter! I was pretty amazed by the action scenes working around LMH's princess' body figure - delicate yet fatale. lol
I can't help the feeling of "trying too hard/pushing too far" those scenes are giving me and alas they're a huge part on the show so I'm hoping it'll get better from now on. I'm almost certain they will, actually. My guess is that it was an honest mistake once they were going for an intense pilot but it backfired (luckily to the minority of us, it seems) considering they were not yet able to afford quality production costs at the time. That also makes me wonder about their intentions insisting that Korea's *sweetheart* Im Yoona joined the cast. So sad the stars are draining the resourses of an already low-budget project. But now that "The K2" is airing we can hope the ratings (if they don't follow after my expectations going downhill, that is) will help bring the sponsors in.
Then again, as I said previously, I can count on one hand the action shows AND movies that pleased me. XD I'm rarely picky about anything but when I am...
First things first, I'm a complete fool for CW and you guys should know I've been dying to watch this drama. Now, if you're biased of the SHOW already, please don't even bother reading this comment because I don't need the blind criticism on my ////OPINION////.
To everyone else with an objective view, was I the only one with a terrible first impression?
Not on the story or the acting (so far) but... it kinda looks indie? As in... poor production? Not that I mind that in general but... action AND poor production just DON'T go well together.
Anyone comparing this to Healer will have to fight me because the action (gotta say I'm very very EXTREMELY detailist when it comes to action scenes though) is 85% off imo and I know Changwook CANNOT be the problem so it has to be direction, editing, angles... idk, something!
The music doesn't sound fitting imo as well... although it's great, it sounds a bit too overdramatic at times and... Woah! A+ to the fact he breaks a 10mm impecable glass with a screwdriver by tossing it from 3ft away! Way to go writers! Is this fantasy? I didn't realize.
On a minor note, the spanish actors might as well come from a porn acting agency - if those exist, that is. I had to check in on the floor when "cop guy" smirked devilish. lol
I don't want to be quick to judge, I was just hoping for better quality but, if that's all we'll get, I'll lower my standards for The K2 so I can be fair to it as it is. Hopefully it's just a pilot thing! ; u ;
So far I haven't seen much improvement in Im Yoona's acting but I'm so thrilled watching the other 3. *-* Some close ups are really on spot and brought my heart eyes out, especially Song Yoon Ah's!
And let's not mention the constant overuse of CW's glorious arms in low cut... can one even call that clothing?! Jisoos saves us all, what is mercy! OTL
