Entertaining, unexpected and enjoyable

I must admit, i thought this was going to be somewhat cheesey however not at all.
This was a romantic comedy, i found myself smiling throughout most episode's, cried at one, laughed at others and had the proper ahhhhh moments.
I loved that the romance wasnt rushed on any couple's, it simmered gently and for some was proper cute!

Acting was fabulous, the leads were brilliant with excellent chemistry, it was palpable from E1. I found myself shipping them and was very pleased with the outcomes of the couplings. Aisde from the leads, the reporter and lawyer were excellent cast additions.
Great balance of romance, comedy and drama.

OST is amazing, ive added all songs to my playlists and they were played at the right moment's.

Everything was a 10 for me and i only deducted .5 from the story as i would have liked to understand the housekeeper storyline just a tad more, even just 5 extra minutes of epilogue.

I often find that i have to fast forward certain parts of k dramas and not one part of this was skipped, it held me all the way through. This is my first review and that was because i enjoyed it so much.

Short but emotionally packed

I loved this, simply put. 6 episodes of only 18 minutes each but was packed from start to finish.

The chemistry between Dong Hui and Ho Tae was truly outstanding! Hats off to the actors on that, in fairness, their acting was bang on throughout.

The cinematography was fantastic, slow mo"s at the perfect times, the intensity of the stares, the beauty of the scenery in general.

Soundtrack was equally great, music perfectly timed, subtle, emotionally evocative and not overused.

This was such a beautiful sad romance, two people in love and never realising it or being brave enough to voice it. The family dynamic broke my heart at Dong Hui's suffering.

I dropped the story point simply because i wanted a more definitive ending, sad or happy, i justed wanted not an open end.

Well worth a watch and because of its shortness, easy to rewatch.

Exceptional Swoon Worthy Action Fantasy Romance

It started with my music app suggesting My Love and... by Gae Mi & Park Hwan and wow, best recommendation ever!

The music itself conveyed every emotion in one single track, happiness, love, beauty, passion, anguish, despair, sadness, loss and turned out to be the best single score track I've ever heard, and I do love a score.

Curious about the music and the rest of the score, I tuned in Netflix and began episode 1. Straight out of the gate, awesomeness ?

So the acting, first class! Woo Do-Hwan aka Jo Hyeong/Eun Sup, hats off and acting credit for his ability to portray two vastly different characters. He was goofy and 1000% swoon worthy at the same time.

Lee Min-Ho aka Lee Gon, Kim Go-Eun aka Tae-eul were equally fabulous. His gazes were intense I felt like I lost all sence of time staring back. The chemistry between the two was the best of any show ive ever watched, and watched a few now. You could see the emotions in their faces, looks and voices, absolutely a perfect pairing. Ive never wanted to be a female lead more than i did watching this.

I felt like there were no filler characters, they had a role and purpose and all portrayed their roles superbly. Lee Lim was a fantastic baddie, always eloquently spoken, dressed and soo in control, until he wasn't and then he was the epitome of evil!

The story was well written and normally I wonder about 16 episodes when they are all around 70 minutes however this was perfect. I didn't feel like dead space, pointless scenes or wasted time, the story evolved beautifully. By the time epiosde 14 came round, I was itching to see how it all ended.

As romances go, top marks, I was taken along with them, action was a tick, big style and Jo Hyeong was utterly amazing in those parts and in fairness, couldn't scoff at Lee Gon either. Fantasy, action, romance and friendship all rolled into one beautifully written and acted series.

Whoever casted the series deserves a clap as every actor suited their roles and I'm not sure if it would have had the same impact without the top 4 leads.

Cinematography, visuals, staging, clothing, and FX, all faultless and I cannot not mention, Maximus, stunning beast!

All this was wrapped with an unbelievable score and soundtrack, My Love and... and Gummys, My Love are top of the pile and been on repeat for 2 days now! The music for this really did fit the series and scenes and conveyed the emotions intended and also complimented and enhanced the scenes, as a good soundtrack should.

Couldn't recommend this enough, I will most definitely watch again and swoon just as much during the second viewing. Couldn't give it anything other than 10 accross the board.

First Dip in KDrama Romance

Well what a start!

Ive been binging korean science fiction and some horrors and decided to dip my toes into the romantic dramas and this was an exception beginning and started a journey that has no end!

I have to mention the Soundtrack first, OMG its a banger!!!! Every single track, downloaded then all, Always by Yoon Mirae and Everytime by Chen & Punch, top two favs, followed very closely by This love and You are my everything. Even if you dont watch the drama, the Soundtrack is sooo worth a listen.

The series itself gripped me from the first episode, action from the off and Song Joong-Ki, not that i wanna fan girl or anything but wow wow wow! Acting, tick, swoon effect, double tick, chemistry with Song Hye-Kyo, treble tick. I later learned they were married so fully get the bubbling intense chemistry now.

I absolutely bloody loved this coupling and had twitching feet every episode awaiting them finally getting it on. Yes, it did at times itritate, they do, they dont, yes, no, i will, i cant but it certainly didnt stop me watching.

The bromace factor, excellent, Jin Goo, you can come again! I enjoyed his character, his stubbornness and that soft gentle caring side he had. I was really pleased that he had a happy ending and romance however, wont lie, Kim Jo-Won aka Myeong Joo was somewhat annoying as a character.

I loved the pace of this, that it had action, comedy, romance, drama, both at home and away. The military aspects were excellent and the north Korean introduction and commarardery, great story addition.

Whilst some little things niggled me, ill watch this again and again and love it again and again, it was the ultimate beautiful romance and set a very high bar for others to follow.

Defo worth a watch and a listen.
