Never mind. If you like "love o2o", you might love My Youth and My Girl 2020. These dramas have the same leads and they have both light-hearted romance in them. Strongly recommend My Youth. It's a highschool and campus-theme romance drama. We can also enjoy the friendship of the four main leads.

Actually, I'm more into Chinese dramas lately so I don't watch many new k-dramas. I checked your watchlist and you seem to watch only kdramas. I just watched Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol and it was nice. The leads have great chemistry despite their age gap. I prefer the first half of that drama as it was very heartwarming to watch. And it has a happy ending. I saw you gave rating 10 to W so you like fantasy theme? Have you watched Gu Family Book? It was old but gold. Plus, if you can put up with 50-eps drama, I recommend "Father I'll take care of you". It is a very underrated drama. I don't usually watch k-dramas with long episodes but I really love that drama. The plot, romance, comedy, a little bit of suspense, and acting are well-balanced and perfect in that show. Maybe you can try it out.

Really? I'm happy to know it. I'm kinda glad I didn't watch it in the past haha. I was wondering what I should watch after StartUp. It's rare to find a good k-drama these days.

I also watched "Bride of Habaek" but NJH's acting didn't stand out there because of his character. But he used his chance to the fullest to show his acting skills in StartUp. I really appreciate he took such a challenging role like Nam Dosan. For KSH, I know he is a good actor but he didn't leave a strong impression on me. I'll check out the drama you suggested though. I might watch it if it's plot is interesting enough. Thank you for your recommendation.

I hope so. I'm also looking forward to seeing his new drama "Here". The cast there are all A-list actors. I'm glad NJH is working together with a lot of brilliant actors.

Noooo. Don't drop at Ep 13. I was thinking of doing the same thing as you at first but I changed my mind and watched the whole drama haha. You can skip ep 14 but there is a sweet revelation about Jun's another secret to Rara in ep 15. I can't believe I almost missed that. Trust me. If you don't want to watch ep 16, just watch until 55:00 of ep 15. It was worth-watching.

I've become an official fan of Nam Joohyuk while watching this drama. He is such a great actor. Never interested in WFKBJ previously but it's now on my plan-to watch list because of NJH.

I actually think dropping this drama is kinda a loss not because I don't respect other people's opinions but because this drama is too good to miss. In my opinion, this is the best xianxia drama to date. Although I loved Xuanji from the get-go , the beginning episodes were quite boring for me during the first watch. But I didn't drop it and continued watching it so I found a real gem. The drama kept getting better and better after each episode. I fell in love with the drama so much until these so-called boring first episodes became enjoyable when I rewatch the drama. Totally recommend this drama!

Its a vocal minority who have been extremely noisy in here, most people overall enjoyed the drama (the quiet majority).…
Ikr. I agree the second half was not as good as the first half because of love triangle. I would love to see more business parts in later episodes but it was a good drama as a whole. I can say this is one of the best k-dramas of 2020.

Only after the drama is over, I see many new people come and give different reviews for this drama. I'm really glad to see all those different reviews. In the past, only 5-10 people were commenting the same thing again and again everyday. I also find the new people use spoiler tags for important parts of plot. Thank you for being respectful to other viewers folks.

This comment section is an emotional train wreck. I haven't watched a single episode of this show, but it can't…
Just ignore the hate comments and try watching it. This drama is highly recommend. But I wanna remind you first. The young boy that you'll see in the first episode is a younger version of the second lead. Some people mistook that boy as the main lead and got SLS afterwards. But even if you get SLS, your drama-watching experience will be fine as long as you are not too much emotionally involved in so-called love triangle.
P.S. In my opinion, it was never a love triangle as the female lead is not that type who flirts with both male leads.

You say it is a garbage drama. You know this isn't the first drama of KSH? But his popularity goes up rapidly because of this drama. I'm sure KSH himself is more than satisfied with his decision to take part in this drama.

I don't consider Xuanji dumb. There are reasons for her actions. She also had a significant character development throughout the story. But if you can't stand her character from the start, this drama might not be for you.

Some people are trying to invalidate the special bond between Dosan and Dalmi by making fun of those big hands…
If you've seen countless kdramas, you should know the safety standards differ in dramaland. Dosan left Dalmi in a park and Dalmi left Dosan's backpack there. We also saw his backpack stayed there until Dosan came back. Our leads must have known how safe that environment was. Plus, Dosan didn't leave Dalmi to go back home. He came back to her. Remember?

Is this your first time watching a k-drama? Have you never seen a Korean adult woman drinks alone and wander around at night? Also, Dalmi even went to that bar/ restaurant alone without calling Dosan. She is an adult and she knows she can take care of herself. That's why she was able to go home alone even before Dosan came back. Maybe you should watch more k-dramas to be familiar with these kind of situations.

Some people are trying to invalidate the special bond between Dosan and Dalmi by making fun of those big hands thing. For me, these big hands symbolize Dosan's emotional support and trust toward Dalmi. It's natural for her to gradually grow on Dosan who was always there for her when she got into those hopeless situations.
