Had potential

I love Kimberly as an actress and I've seen them Kim and James act together before. Chemistry is amazing here and in their other lakorn but the story could've been written better in so many ways. First time I need to write a review lol. Why btw did they give us the ending at the beginning(Pit had a dream) and changed nothing at all? Like what!!! Okay now for the actual review. The story has a slow start which I'm okay with because the actors and actresses made up for that but there were so many loose ends that were tied up simply with the death of the character. A lot of the characters showed no growth or were given an ending they didn't deserve. First of all, the twin, showed she was human, she loved Pee but other than that they just got rid of her. She went through stuff, was sad but in the end, she still wanted to do wrong. In my mind, she didn't deserve to die, she was not such a hatable character. She was never fully evil or she always went after someone only when they came at her. Pee, why, just why did they kill him, that added nothing to the story. They could've made a decent ending with both of the twins being happy. Pae, I just felt sorry for him. He was just there to be there, he was manipulated so much and I felt like watching his character turn into that was just (I can't find the word to describe it.) He didn't deserve that storyline, they could've made so much growth and progress with him. You can see it happening but they made majority of characters regressed. Even Pit, she wanted to fight for herself but then she kept going back to help her sister. How does that help her or her sister. The ending of the couple was nice but that was it. What I don't get is why did they kill the evil twin(they made it true like both the sister really couldn't be in this life together) but then the couple ended up having twins. It just doesn't match well with the ending. All in all acting top-notch for everyone. The script was well done as well but the storyline just brought this lakorn down so much. I had to write a review because the ending was one of the worst thai lakorn endings ever. Disappointed, it really had so much potential.

So close to being decent.

Summary:
The storyline is your typical Chinese, god, the weight of the world on your one decision story. The male lead is tasked with killing the female lead because he was told that she would bring chaos and destruction to the world, as a god he has to finish the task and remain neutral. However of course he falls in love with her and refuses to kill her.
**Spoilers**

They eventually find a middle ground where everything works out but it gets messed up because of the male lead father. The ending is very confusing. It's an open ending so if you don't like those then yea, not for you. From my understanding, the phoenix is reborn in the first life, and therefore the main lead couple's fate has changed because if the girl is still a phoenix then they are bound by fate to kill each other or cause war. So it's not the main lead falling for the phoenix, he's just falling for a regular mortal changing the course of both their fate.

Pace, acting, story:
It was fast-paced for me, think they rushed the ending and it wasn't an explained or a solved ending. The storyline had potential but when they added timetravel towards the end they messed it up, it was introduced too late and confused everything. I love the female lead, seen her in some other dramas, she did well as usual. As for the male lead, think this is the first time I've seen him, he did okay. Felt like there was no chemistry between these two, when they were together or you could say dating in the drama I found it awkward because I was like when did that happen other than the accidental falling and catching the female lead.

Overall the cast did great, loved the action scenes, just something to waste time or have in the background. If you're looking for full-on romance, chemistry, or action I think this isn't it. It has those things here and there but it's very simple.

Tragic yet beautiful.

Heads up this drama is not for the weak-hearted!!! It's hard to say what makes this a good drama because it has all the red flags and the relationship is bittersweet. The story is sad, pitiful, and yet beautiful at the same time.
Spoilers ahead......

As you watch episode to episode it gets you to fall in love with the couple but in the end, you know that there is just too much misunderstanding and issues for them to end up together. You may hate the male lead but it's sad because as the drama ends near, you realize he knows it's the end for them and he just soaks up and appreciates every moment he has with her yet you can't forgive him for what he's done. He's a man that falls in love all over and over again. Reliving the misery he sets up for himself yet he does it all over again because of the love he has for her. He lives with regret, misery, and anxiety each time while the girl gets a reset. The ending ties everything up pretty well. It may not make sense but it's the best ending for this story. The happy ending would've been the girl knew the truth about her family, while she was pregnant but again this drama ended differently and it's still a beautiful drama.
