Me too! All that talk about goodness and Heavenly justice and yet after everything Yuan Zhong and Ji Tan Yin went through they still had to separate and wait for each other. She managed to survive in the world thanks to her good deeds so why not just let her live and be with him. They deserved it. I get that the ending is kind of positive but it would be less bittersweet if they at least showed their reunion later on.

Unnatural Fire. Actors did an amazing job and completely captivated my heart, especially Dai Xu. However, I have to warn you that it is very emotional with bittersweet moments but I think you will like it. As you said, life is far from perfect and I have to add that with meaningful things it is nothing short of amazing and beautiful as this drama shows.

I wasn't quite emotionally attached to the drama, but that detail left an impact on me because I was almost certain that they will get their happily ever after because of everything they went through. Many good people died miserably whereas bad ones got it easy so I thought main couple getting to heal together for a long time is a given.
This ending was bittersweet. I like that she got her revenge and decided to live happily after all those painful experiences, but with plethora of plot twists finding cure for ML wouldn't be too much and it would've been a better triumph over father's monstrosities. At the very end in the last scene they are divided into two groups with deceased people on the left side and living on the right side and I noticed right away that ML was on the left which subtly indicates that he passed away. The drama is fast-paced and illogical at times with few romantic interactions between the main couple, but it was a decent watch with accurate historical setting, good female actors and beautiful scenes in which FL stood out, so it's 7,8 or even 8 out of 10 for me.
