Instead of ruining the experience for others those who don't like this drama or don't like the acting in it should just stop watching and find something else. Drama aired recently, literally not a full day has passed and all these people have so much to say. If this is your cup of tea then enjoy and If not you can find another.

Luo Ran and Jiang Xue end up together. Xie Ying, Lin Haitao and Nana are killed in quite stupid manner, at least I see it that way. Chen Li had a chance for redemption (which I didn't like, but, again, that's just my opinion). I can't say that good guys won because among those surviving people there were bad ones, however, goodness in general won which you'll understand when you see the end. An Qi, the doctor, their baby, train driver mom and her son, Chen Li and some side characters survived and were rescued successfully. Ending was intense and surprising (not so much for one main male character). There are elements for a continuation of the drama but I don't think it's necessary.

They ended it with a message that love and kindness always prevail so you could say it is a happy ending.

How on Earth is this drama so underrated? Both the synopsis and actors are great!

I could recognise that dark aesthetic with those lamps and the tree bending over the bridge everywhere. It's truly a treat for the eyes 😍

I still can't get over those dramas. I love that kind of aesthetic so much and seeing them again like that is great ✨

Don't pay attention to those shady comments and give it a try. I don't know how they managed to be so hateful with only 4 episodes out but as I said don't bother with negativity. The costumes and songs are nice, colours are well balanced and not too bright or too dimmed. Acting is good and main characters have yet to develop their dynamics and story. As I said it's too early to judge but so far so good. Hope you'll like it.

This Jixing Abyss has the same vibes/aesthetics as My Journey to You and Fangs of Fortune and I'm here for it. I was like: this looks very familiar; and these two dramas immediately popped up in my head. 😍

The last five minutes of the series are forever engraved in my heart because their sweetness and chemistry are mesmerising.

Exactly! I'm mad at those reviews. So much happened and they say it's boring. Are we watching the same thing? Reviews can be so misleading. The series get you hooked from the very beginning and it is a breath of fresh air.

This is my second time trying to watch this drama and I actually managed to watch 5 whole episodes. I really CAN'T get into it and I actually skipped some parts because it's downright BORING and ANNOYING. Also, why cast an actor who was arrested in 2002 for having sex with a minor, (he promised to help her become an actress) where powerful men sleep with an underage girls... Its quite sick and I can't stop wondering how is this even allowed... Aren't there more suitable actors without predator tendencies?
