I find it shocking. China scared off by a handsome boy? They could have come up with better accusations, because the amount of makeup in almost all Chinese films in enormous. I even have the impression that its more discreet in new dramas. Besides, even historical theatrical conventions in China have relied on makeup. Beautiful actors are just a promotion for China and something that attracts people to China and chinese culture, abd such tricks rather terrify the rest of the world.
